Living in Hollywood. Which gives me a chance to hear stories like this: During the timeout right before Kobe's game-tying layup in Game 4, the Mamba waited until Jackson was done talking, then went over to Smush Parker, grabbed him by the shoulders in full view of everyone sitting near the bench, then started poking him in the chest while repeatedly screaming, "You steal that ball! You steal that ball! You steal that [bleeping] ball!" Apparently Smush looked terrified, like a 14-year-old minding his own business then was suddenly being ordered to rob a liquor store by the leader of the Crips. But Smush stole the damned ball. And if there was video footage of this moment in the huddle, I think I would pay three grand for it.

The guy acts like Kobe's body is made out of titanium. He acts like Luke's body is made out of the same material (referring to Bell running backward into Luke's screen and then acting like he got shot). I have no respect for this dude's game. Not at all. I mean Manu flops too, but you don't see him going out there and complaining about not getting calls. Raja should be lucky that they let him get away with half the things that he does. He'll flop on at least half of the charges that he drew in the series (I thought they weren't going to award flopping), He'll continually swipe at Kobe's arms, put two hands on his back, impede his progress, this is all illegal. And then he comes out and complains and acts like the victim. No respect.

Diaw and Barbosa on they other hand, now they can ball.

i like raja's hands on kobe's back...hahaha it kinda looks like he strategically PLACES his head within reach of kobe's elbow, doubt thats the case its just kinda funny

i hate raja though, the dudes lame, if i was kobe i'd elbow the crap out of that guy on purpose

floppers are annoying as it is, but then a guy like raja, clotheslining people and feeling good about it, its stupid

he totally loves himself too much, previously saying it was their gameplan to let kobe score so when raja gets torched he's playing good D

he's the one sole reason why losing to the suns is so bad, losing to a team with a player like him makes me want to cry

thats one scenario where kobe did make contact, but look at the context of it

kobe's running forward, thats a natural motion to make, ANd bell is reaching and sticking his head in, putting his face in prime position to get elbowed...it could be a real offensive foul, but thats 1 foul

and with the way he's been talking crap and clotheslining people, WHO THE HECK WOULDN'T TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO smack raja in the face

anyways, dont come in and tell me that of all the offensive fouls, raja didn't either initiate contact first or flopped on any of them

even charles barkley and kenny smith were making fun of raja

if kobe is dirty, raja is equally as dirty, constantly grabbing jereseys, holding kobe, impeding his progress, CLOTHESLINING SOMEONE AND THEN LAUGHING ABOUT IT

hmm, that .gif it looks like kobe makes contact, but one with another angle shows



it may not be clear, but viewed it a lot and you can see that the elbow never makes contact with raja's jaw

if IT DID, at most it'd be the lower area, but it doesn't..or at least thats what i see

now kobe's elbow DOES make contact, but its not with the jaw....

From a head on camera angle, things look closer than they really are.

For instance, in marathons they often show a head-on shot of the guy in first; with the 2nd place runner appearing to be right behind him. From a different angle, that same runner is a good 100-200 paces back.

As you can clearly see in the one where it looked like Kobe didn't hit him.. it doesn't show the full play, Raja is already heading to the floor at the beginning of that clip, while Kobe is throwing what looks like his 2nd elbow.. THAT ONE didn't make contact.

Anyway, doesn't matter anymore.. Lakers are at home.
