I'm not one who condones hitting women, but I've seen many cases where the chick had it coming to her... I saw one get absolutely dropped in the middle of the street by her man... She had been following him for a few blocks, screaming at him, calling him names and expletives, and he would stop and tell her to get away from him and go home... She just kept pushing old boy. So finally, she runs up on him, calls him some good stuff, says something about "go to your mother's house, see if that bitch will help you", and that was it... Dude rocked her upside the head with a right, just dropped her on the street, and told her "see, I told you to go home. That's your problem, you don't funking listen!!"

I probably woulda handled it differently, but there are some broads who will just keep trying you. The trick is those are the ones you just bang out. You don't MARRY them....

Getting beating to a bloody pulp the way Joumana would get beat could've led to her insanity. maybe it's far-fetched, but that's how schizophrenia can happen.

Unless a women is about to kill you, you don't do the things that Kidd alledgedly did to her.

"There's just a bad history here," Joumana Kidd told police on a 911 call. "I told him this would be the last time, and he popped me right in the mouth."

"Don't worry about me," she said. "This is minor compared to what I usually go through."

But the 911 tape and subsequent police report shows a far from docile relationship.

On the 911 tape, Kidd can be heard shouting in the background.

Police said that Joumana Kidd was crying when they arrived following the 5:44 p.m. call to 911. She said she and her husband had been arguing since he got home.

About 5 p.m., Joumana Kidd said, she decided to go to the gym and asked Jason if he would watch and feed their 2-year-old son, T.J. Police said Kidd took a french fry from the boy's plate, and his wife told him not to eat the child's food.

"Jason then turns towards Mrs. Kidd and spits the french fry at Mrs. Kidd, striking her in the face," the police report said. "Mrs. Kidd turns away from Jason. Jason then strikes Mrs. Kidd in the face while holding a container of yogurt in his hand"

Police said Joumana Kidd ran upstairs to her bedroom and locked the door, but her husband kicked the door open. She said she went to the bathroom and locked the door again.

Mrs. Kidd called police, but hung up before authorities could answer. Paradise Valley police called the number, and talked to Jason Kidd first, then his wife.

He offered no resistance when informed of the arrest.

Kidd, considered perhaps the best point guard in the NBA, has five triple-doubles this season and 36 in his career. He likely will be voted as a starter in the All-Star game.

Doesn't make what she allegedly did right though. I don't have much patience for this type of behavior. I feel much worse for the children than I do either Mr. or Mrs. Kidd.

Who's to say what happened... Neither one of us were there, so it can very well go both ways. But I believe if he beat her down on a regular basis, it'd be very hard to keep that a secret, especially since she does TV work on occasion. It would send up a massive red flag.

I don't agree or condone striking women, but you must admit that there are some who will push dudes' buttons, and wind up getting hit... I broke up with a chick once because of stuff like that. She was hot as heck, but she had issues... Very jealous, always thought I was running around on her. She was always accusing me of stuff, and I would calmly tell her that she was tripping. She'd keep pushing me, and it seemed the only time that she got the point was when I raised my voice, screaming at her. I'm normally a mellow kind of cat, and it takes a LOT to make me lose it... A LOT. I realized then that I couldn't be in a relationship with her... Marriage? I do think she'd have driven me to the point where I'd at least seriously consider laying a hand on her.

That's why I say split before you hit. (dang, I should trademark that...)

What type of stupidness is she on?? She probably beat the brother, he defended himself with a nice upper jaw reaction, and the whole fanbase thinks he's a woman hitter. See, it's crap like that. That's why you need to pick out your girl before you make it big. She was kicked out the house. I wonder if he'll keep the kids. Snap, she's older than him too. I'm sorry, I'm just reading and posting. Man, how can people live with themselves when they pull crap like that?

Somehow she'll probably get the kids. The court system sucks.

I'm sure she didn't act like that before they got together. It's messed up though cause women can do all kinds of stuff and if the guy does anything then he's wrong. I don't condone hitting women either but if she was going crazy and throwing things and hitting him then I would understand.

I agree that women get away with alot of junk, but that doesn't mean there should be a green light to chin check them. That solves nothing and makes things worse.

I know that but you can't do things to people and not expect anything to happen. She knew she was going to get a reaction out of him.

And he isn't man enough to handle things like he should've. That's why he got a crazy woman on his behind now.

When you hit a woman, you disgust her from that monent on. If the relationship continues, she'll front...but her respect and trust for you went down more than a couple notches. That's probably what made her go crazy like she did.

It's like a cat...cats are nice and friendly when you treat them nice...but if you kick a cat and mistreat it, they'll come back for food, but don't want you near them when they eat, will flinch if you make any sudden moves and such things like that.

Thats all well and good but all of this is made under the assumption that she wasnt crazy in the first place. Tons of guys (myself included) have excused crazy behavior by a woman at the beginning of a relationship because she was fine. No excuse for hitting a woman but lets not assume he made her crazy...she may have been from the beginning.
