Did I say that I'd pop a ghetto chick in the mouth? You're trying to be a devil's advocate and cause a ruckus in this thread by throwing words and ideas that people aren't implying. I personally am lost for words by the ignorance you are showing for the situation. Yes you're a bad guy when you're not observing the situation as a whole. You're stuck on Kidd giving his wife a cross to the jaw, which never happened. Read the articles and you'll see that Kidd gave the woman an open hand across the face which is totally different from a closed fist. Another thing that you need to view is the fact that your views might seem sane to you, but you're not in the situation. I'm going out on a limb but I'm sure you never were in a situation like this. Those who think they have the best advice are those who usually look in. Have you ever been in a situation such as this one? I never said I'd be down for hitting a female. However, if the situation arises where I have to defend myself, you best believe I will. I'm not a tough guy and hitting a female isn't what I'm into but if I need to, I will.

Nobody gets a pass in this society for being small, pretty, smart.....everyone is capable of more than they seem to be. I think that Kidd's wife had to be doing something for him to file for divorce before her. If the situation was as bad as she was making it seem, then why didn't she imply or push for a divorce? What's up with the reactions and comments that her lawyer is saying? Why does she seem caught off guard if she's the "victim" for the length of the relationship? Everything that has happened within the relationship that seems to be a claim that she gave is looking quite questionable. Personally, Jason Kidd never spoke about what happened or why he hit his wife. Of course, seeing the things that she did after the abusive hit make her seem somewhat quesitonable in her claims at first, at least to me.

I never said it was right to throw anything. I said I just don't know, but I do know it is not beating her up with bare fists.

In a courthouse, that would seem more like a yes than the no. You implied that anything other than beating her up with bare fists. Hitting with or without an object is the same thing.

I don't get why those of us who at least are considerate of the other party's story are labeled as "women abusers" or the like... All that's being said is that blame goes both ways.... Nobody has said that it's cool to beat on a female, just that there are some times when a chick will push a dude to a certain point, and if he's not mature enough to leave the situation or handle it like an adult, more often than not, there will be some physical stuff going down...

There are certain chicks, that's all they know, or can relate to, is physicality... Maybe it's some emotional issue, or the way they grew up, or some other factor in their development.... The crazy jealous chick I was with, it took me raising my voice to her to get her to shut up and understand what I was saying... That's not how I normally get down; I'm a mellow kind of fellow... So I knew that if I was gonna stay with her, drama was gonna be the norm. After awhile, loud words wouldn't mean anything. That's why I left her alone.

If I saw my sister acting a fool with her man, doing all sorts of stupid stuff, and I knew dude was an idiot, and he wound up slapping her around, I'd give her a talking to for acting stupid, and then I'd probably proceed to beat dude down for laying hands on my family.
