He has worked from not being a top 30 PG in the NBA to being (a debateable) top 3 PG. The man is also very smart. Watch when he takes the bench. Most NBA players throw a towel on their head and start to yuk it up or sulk it out. Nash will wrap a towel around his neck and then put a warmup on. This is to trap the heat into his body so he does not get tight. Also, like Stockton, he is always in the game watching and looking for ways to win.

Some players, get hurt alot due to forces of nature. Some players are just dont get hurt (ie Joe Johnson), and there is guys like Nash who do everything they possibly can to try and stay loose and healthy.

To say Baron should get top 3 consideration due to what he could be if he had x-amount of healthy seasons is not fair to the all out efforts that Nash makes to stay healthy, and always thinking of ways to make the game easier.

Say what you want about Nash's defense, but if your injured your not guarding anyone, because your on the bench.

That said, Baron had a great game last night, and I wish him the best. When he is 85-100% he just might be the best ticket in the league. But to say hes # 1 in the NBA because he played 63 reg-season games and had a briliant game 1, is not fair to Kidd and Nash (Kidd 80 games -- 15 assists/10 reb in game 1 // Nash 76 games--20pts -10ast in game 1).

Before everyone starts hopping on that B-Diddy bandwagon (this is not a shot at anyone), try and give some points for consistency and hard work, not just the flash and the dreaded could/should be.

Well Bdiddy had a good 63 games also, just look at his stats...

This love for Davis and even mentioning him in the sam breath as Nash is very foul. This guy has straight tanked seasons before and been a major disruption.

Him and Nash play completely different games, alot of Nash's greatness doesnt show up on the stat sheet. If u understand basketball and actually watch nash run an offense for an extended period of time, you wouls see that.

No he did, you cant take that away from him. But a good 63 does not make you the best PG in the NBA.

I'll say this again and again...Talent-Wise Bdiddy is better than Nash.

What Nash has acheived is greater than Baron, but no doubt in my mind that if he didn't have injury problems he would already be considered one of the best PGs in this generation...no doubt in my mind.

Even Kenny said it last night "This guy's always been good..."

I am judging him based on the time he plays, yeah Nash can condition all he wants and try to stay healthy. But if something were to happen to his friggin knee, he'd be out for 1 season and half too.

Name me one player that had a serious knee injury and came back the same year.

Knee injuries certain ones ends players career, some guys are never the same after a knee injury.

So Baron coming out after and almost playing better than he did before the injury is just amazing.

While I understand your point you can't be serious blaming Davis for a bad situation in New Orleans, when it took Nash almost 4-5 years before he started to even turn into a stud PG. Which Don Nelson had a lot to do with and who is Baron Davis coach now? Yeap Nellie.

I'm not comparing injuries, but Nash does have some sort of back problem which is also a hindrance. Just something to note.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Baron Davis belongs on that list, can we just all agree on this already?

23 assists for Nash today, Kidd had that incredible triple double the other day. These are two great PGs we are seeing and with their ages who knows how much longer. I'll just wait off on really enjoying watching Nash until the next round though. lol.

If were talking best PG in the playoffs it's very tight and I would not want to rank Nash, Davis, Kidd in order.

If I could adjust the list I would put him on, However, I wouldn't consider voting him for the fact that yes, he is good, but I think both Nash and Kidd are better.

I gotta go with Nash. Kidd is great, but Nash dishes out massive amounts of assists night in and night out.

Don't stereotype Mavs fans because of one person please.

I think Steve Nash is a great player, and I know a lot of other Mavs fans think the same.
