Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
Doubt it happens though.
San Antonio (if they play GS) is a terrible match up for GS. They'd win pretty easily.
No one slows a game down better than the Spurs...and Duncan means GS's small line up would be killed.
Match up's are just everything this season...never seen a season where match up's are so significant.
Chicago owned Miami...
GS owns Dallas...
Yet Detroit and SA struggle with Miami and Dallas respectively...
Miami and Dallas going out really opens it up for San Antonio and Detroit to make the finals.
Same with Phoenix...the Spurs own them / stop their transition game.
Yet the Suns have a great record v Dallas...while Dallas has a great record v the Spurs.Comment

Golden State is a very mediocre team and should not be in the playoffs period. Yes Dallas is playing that poorly right now to lose to a door mate basketball team.
If Golden State gets by Dallas they have no chance against the other playoff teams.Comment

Charles Barkley sounds pathetice trying to argue with Kenny Smith over the old Phoenix vs. Houston series. You can tell that Kenny takes it easy on him and just laughs inside because he has the rings.NBA 2K10Comment

There's not much that Avery can do about this, Dirk isn't making anything and when he's switched up his lineups it doesn't work, when he uses the conventional lineup it doesn't work.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

This is why I have the Spurs going to the finals. They know how to shut down these run and gun teams. They pretty much own the Warriors and the Suns.
I am still hoping the Suns don't even have a chance to play them, Lakers, I know it sounds near impossible, but return last years favor.Comment
