I somewhat feel sorry for the Mavs though.
To have a season like that...

Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
This is why I have the Spurs going to the finals. They know how to shut down these run and gun teams. They pretty much own the Warriors and the Suns.
I am still hoping the Suns don't even have a chance to play them, Lakers, I know it sounds near impossible, but return last years favor.
I REALLY don't want to see a Spurs v Pistons finals again...but the way it's all breaking right now, it's looking likely.
San Antonio owns GS and Phoenix. Barring an injurt to TD, they just won't lose series to them.
Chicago are playing great...but I think the Pistons experience will win that series.
It's looking like SA v Detroit again. That last series was painful to watch. I fell asleep most games and had to get the wife to wake me up come the 4th quarter.........................boring basketball.Comment

man Nellie is seriously teaching Avery a lesson. Dallas is being outcoached big time.
they are being outplayed also obviously. The Warriors have a hell of an athletic, talented, hungry team and they match up perfect with this Mavs squad. GS also has nothing to lose and the Mavs look tight. Dallas had some serious bad luck drawing the Warriors in the first round. The series is pretty much over imo obviously. i dont see how Dallas can win 3 straight against this bunch. but Dallas probably wouldnt win it all this year anyway with the kind of team they have decided to be in the playoffs.
anyway, there is always next season...us Mavs fans are used to saying that. (and no im not giving up on them just being realistic)...but the Mavs should upgrade this offseason and be an even better contender next year.Last edited by ZB9; 04-30-2007, 12:25 AM.Comment

They are looking a hell of lot like last seasons Pistons...they pretty much have gone full throttle every game and now have nothing left / cannot go up a gear come play off time.
Avery is so intense. He doesn't change from game one to now...that wears off after a while and he's being exposed tactically.Comment

Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Any time I hear "3-1" I cringe. Uggggh.
Shauk, that's pretty bold statements there.Comment
