I agree on the attempts. I think his point was about him only hitting 3 of those 17 is pretty horrendous. They need just a tiny bit of discipline, and a post scorer.

After the Spurs won the championship (which he was a tremendous part of, and good close friends with Manu) he was a free agent.

Stephen Jackson the way he came into the league was looking for money so he ended up signing a nice size deal with the Atlanta Hawks and played there for a season before being traded to Indiana.

Actually, S.A. was willing to keep him, (no troubles at that point) and offerd him an extension. He thought he was worth more $$$, so he rolled the dice and took LESS money on a 1-year deal in ATL. After a decent season, he got a bigger deal and was dealt in a sign and trade for Harrington. After the Finals there was a pretty nice write-up on the kid in Dime. He's had it rougher than most.

Ironic that Harrington ends up back in Indy, and they get traded to GS together...

That is right. I left out the fact that they wanted to keep him but he wanted more money than they were offering him, which was the punchline.

To say you read that he had problems in San Anotinio and the organization was calling him a headcase with absolutely no proof, just to paint him in a bad light, especially since that was so off the mark is ridiculous.

I really hope the Suns win just so that I won't have to see any whining about how this game cost them a chance at the Finals.

I was hoping the same thing about the Mavs.

GOODNESS... What a putrid first half for the Cavaliers. Z is playing good, and that's about it. Hopefully we can close the series out in the second half. This is a good Nets team, one that if we give a second life to, can come back and beat us.

Come on Larry, get your head in the game and make some of those wide open shots you're getting. LB, it's time to take over...

No offense, but I'm tired of our bandwagon fans. The people down there boo'ing, and it sounds like you'd be doing the same. It's game 5 of the playoffs, we're up 3 games to 1 to go to the Eastern Conference Finals and down by 6. And you're boo'ing or complaining about how bad we look?

It gets old as a Cavs fan for my entire life.

I wonder how many of these Cavs fans were around in the Mark Price years...or even the Brevin Knight-Shawn Kemp years.

Don't worry - when LeBron goes to the Knicks, you'll go back to being the only person outside of the Cleveland area who gives two ****s about the Cavs.

LOL, I've been down there when we sucked, and when we were great. The 92 team was still more fun to watch than this team. BJF knows what I'm talking about, he's flying the 86-87 logo for his avatar.

Am I booing on here Scott??? If I am, please let me know and I'll stop. Where in my post did I state anything other than the truth?

Are they not a good team that we have to worry about? Is Hughes not having a rough shooting night? Enlighten me... I just figured that we'd come out with more energy than what we did... is that too much to ask?

Sorry, I honestly didn't think that it was against the rules of basketball, to make a comment other than praise about a team that you follow.

I agree, they shouldn't be booing in this circumstance... but this is a team that you can't let back in the series. They've had two subpar games from their stars...

Wow... didn't mean to upset any "long time fans" of the same team.

Oh, also, horrible flagrant call on Pavlovic... nothing but ball and arm.

No, but you constantly complain that the team doesn't look good. We won the last game, but you complained we didn't look good. A win is a win.

Are they playing good? Not right now, they are playing horrible. But boo'ing your hometown team in the playoffs up 3 games to 1, is absolutely embarrassing to the rest of the country.

They boo'ed the last jumper LeBron missed. Have boo'ed his free throw misses all playoffs.

No, while Hughes is playing worse than bad, they aren't just boo'ing him.

I know what you mean EG. The only team in this city that gets unconditional support is the Browns. When the tribe stopped dominating, fan support dried up to nothing...and a ton of Cavs fans are only on board because of Lebron. Gerald Levert once told me that Cleveland is known in entertainment circles as one of the toughest crowds in the country...which is why alot of acts skip Cleveland on their tours. I have no idea why we're so hard on everyone.

                                We must be punch drunk.
