Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
"They pretty much know what they're up against, and they know if they don't bring their A-game they don't have much of a chance. But they're doing that, they're bringing their A-game," Billups said, going on to add that he hasn't seen the Pistons' A-game since the clincher against Chicago in the second round a week and a half ago. "Our A-game and their A-game [are] really different, and hopefully ours is coming real soon."
Is this denial? The pistons just dont give any credit to this Cavs team...this will be there downfall...there is a reason why they are not playing well...the cavs defense...for them to think they really can jus turn it on whenever they plz is obsurb...4 games into a 7 game series...and you havent brought your "a game" yet...please...they wanted to win game 4 BADLY...well see how this all plays out tho...Comment

If they play like that with the cavs, James is gonna soon just take over, something the bulls don't have.Comment

Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
I'll admit the Cavs have played tough, and realistically they could've one every game in this series. But the pistons have every right to think they're the better team when they play well. Oh and please read the quote again because he DOES say that the Cavs are bringing their A game which I'm pretty sure means he is saying that the Cavs have outplayed them. And if you look at the first two games of the series when the Cavs didn't get great games out Lebron and company Cleveland lost, while Detroit didn't get big games out of their stars. He's simply stating the obvious, when they've played to the top of their game the Cavs have one, while the Pistons struggled in their victories. All that said I'd love to see the Cavs win this series, its been great to see Lebron step up in the 4th quarter of the last two games.Comment

I thought we had at least slapped the swagger out of these chaps, but I guess not. If Chauncey needs to call a 10 point game from James or a 26 point half our "A-game" to feel OK about his pathetic play so far, thats cool.
