When was run-n'-shoot EVER the staple of winning important games Erod?
How bout those record setting Nuggets of 81-82? 124 points a game! Must have been every average fan's dream to watch right? They went 41-41. YAWN!!!!
I don't even care anymore that the so called God-forsaken league is messed up by fundamental teams like the Spurs. Here is a little stat for you guys from the good ol' stat man...
I have watched ZERO NBA Finals games that haven't included the Spurs. I didn't even tune in for a minute to see MJ win any of his 6. Couldn't give a **** honestly. Only game that I ever watched was Game 7 of 1994, and that's because my big bro has always been a Knicks fan.
I'm sure there are more out there like me. I don't even care if the league got more exciting by ousting the Spurs. You know why? Cause I WOULDN'T WATCH!!!! No matter what.
Running isn't going to work with any rule change, sorry. This is the true reason why Phoenix couldn't get past San Antonio. Nothing to do with suspensions. Mike D'Antoni is an idiot for running his Suns on an empty tank for Game 6, by playing his starters a good 40+ minutes EVERY GAME... and the RUN... ALL THE TIME!!!
What do you think happens to people who run all the time? They get tired eventually. It's common physics, and it's not exciting come game 6 or 7 to watch a Suns team get run out the building tired as hell.
But then I just admitted it. I can't watch any basketball other than the Spurs. I don't even like college basketball... at all. I watch that for the first 2 rounds and then when my bracket is in total shambles I stop.
I am really considering ending my posting in this particular thread. Most of you make me sick with your crazy comments. Aren't San Antonio and Cleveland smaller markets anyway?
