    MJ took him number one.

MJ also traded away Rip Hamilton...

Also took Morrison way too high at number 4.

MJ was the GOAT as a player...

    As a GM...

What have his teammates done? The team is awful, no wonder Kobe had to score 50 and 60 point games this year.

Well Rip wasn't what he is now, and Stack was on the cusp of being a franchise player in DET, that wasnt a bad move.

Kwame didnt seem so dumb at the time, but he refused to put in the work and just stopped blaming everybody else last year. His game is his own fault.

I dont see MJ any worse than most GM's in the league now.

Well the only positive thing about this game is that CHANGES will come this offseason I guarantee it.

No he doesn't have to. The problem is not offense with this team.

I would be angry if I was a laker fan watching this mess.
He goes in wierd spurts mood...shoots non stop...then passes non stop...

He's not playing any D at all.

I don't know...I am kind of with KDRE on this, it just doesn't look like mentally Kobe is right in this series. He doesn't look like he has any faith in his teammates at all.

These guys need to be playing it in the half court...getting in position to get back on D before anyone shoots...

Instead, they're shooting from all sorts of bad positions...no one is in position to get back on D...

LA is supposed to be running a triangle offense. They did it at seasons beginning and looked good.

Right now, they're not running any sort of strategy.

It would be interesting if Kobe wanted a change of scenery, but that will just not happen.

Kobe has set his teammates up for open 3s layups etc. all game. They're flat out missing easy shots and aren't athletic enough to defend. What makes you guys think Kobe isn't playing D? On that one alley oop to Marion Kobe was trying to get an offensive board so had to run the length of the court to get there. He was sprinting the whole way and the one who had a chance to stop that play was Kwame, not Kobe.

I don't know man...Kwayme was a massive stretch at number one. Scouts at the time said he'd shown nothing exceptional in work outs. It's a GM's job to see that.

MJ also came out publicly and said he was seriously considering taking Rodney White at number one...!...

White went to Detroit at 7 I think...and was a massive bust.

I agree MJ isn't any worse than most of them...and hopefully he gets better...

They aren't running the triangle much, and all Kobe had to do was establish himself in the post, get his teammates some spacing and kick out if there was a double team.

He's doing studder steps in place and spinning only to throw it out to the 3pt line. Totally not driving to the basket or utilizing his mid range game AT ALL.

This is that same crap he pulled the last time, yet as I said, people will blame his teammates again only.

I just don't understand how every problem with this team is somehow always Kobe's fault. The team is playing awful and looks like ****, he hasn't shot the ball which is what people complain about(even though he's clearly the best offensive option on the team) and is passing it yet they can't make anything. They just look terrible all around, standing there letting people blow right by them, standing there letting people get rebounds, letting people get WIDE open, it's just an ugly game to watch.

That Nash-to-Marion alley oop was the prettiest thing I've ever seen.

This is amazing. I love it.

We're playing GREAT defense, our offense is beautiful....it's PERFECT.
