Why does Cleveland insist on running Lebron on the pick and roll? San Antonio will trap it or push it further out, they seemed to have success getting the ball to Lebron around the elbow and letting him work, why does it seem they have abandoned that ever since then?

That makes the West good? The 2 top seeds vanish playoff time?

Yeah, the Spurs are great, I'm not debating that, never did. They have the talent, experience, and leadership to beat anyone. We've never been here, not even close in team history.

All I can say, it's not over.

Maybe you don't watch closely...two teams that steamrolled, both did nothing????

San Antonio steamed home...something like 40 and 10.

Phoenix did nothing? They stretched the Spurs all the way...unlike the Cavs.

Facts are facts...the second best team in this league are the Suns. They'd beat the Cavs 4-0.

      The Spurs already beat them.

The Spurs and Pistons are MULTIPLE classes apart. That's what the Cavs are finding out now.

      Great job getting here...

People, I included gave DET plenty of props for their run in 04, and you have to admit most of the east was horrid this year, especially down the stretch.

The West is tough conference, that's just the reality.
yea, top to bottom the West is so much better... the thing is the best team in the East is on par w/ the best in the West. That's why the East has been winning the championship. The thing is this year I don't feel the best team is representing the East. Although they did beat Detroit, CLE had to only beat 2 sub-par .500 teams. They must have had the easiest route to the finals in NBA history

The Suns didn't make the Western Conference Finals, neither did the Mavs. So we don't know how the Cavs would play against them, to even say they would win 4-0 isn't even an argument you can make. The Mavs were the story all year, they were eliminated in early May, against a barely .500 team.

It's 2 games in, San Antonio is in control. Is it over, no.

If it makes you feel any better Cavs fans...the Spurs did the same thing to the Pistons in the first two games in SA 2 years ago, too.

...The Spurs still won that series, but yeah...

Seriously, I'll be happy with 1 win, 2 wins is a big accomplishment, and 3 is huge. Winning it all is of course the goal, but this team is the 2nd or 3rd youngest team in the NBA, we're young and ready to make a few runs. This year is getting the experience.

But the East doesn't exist anyway, so why does it matter.

He's allowing the Cavs nothing but the perimeter, and we haven't dissapointed with attrocious shooting...again. 26 point half against the Pistons...25 point half against the Spurs.

We really need to completely re-tool the offense, and get someone in here who can facilitate for LeBron...

Unless we get some very dramatic home cookin' in CLE, we're done.
Come on Macca. Have some faith bro.

Pop doesn't know our defensive inside and out. The problem is, we haven't executed defensively tonight. We came out with nothing. We did not play Cavalier basketball in the first half. We've picked it up in the second half. Had the same defense been played in the first half, we're right in the game. We didn't come with it, so they ran away w/ it.

The lack of team defense will not happen again. We will rebound, and show that there isn't THAT big of a talent gap between the two teams. This series isn't over.

We may be one of the most offensively stagnant teams in the league.. but defensively, we're one of the best. We just didn't come out w/ our usual mindset tonight. Spurs noticed, attacked, and I give them props for that.

Had things bounced the right way, we could have had Redd and Boozer right now. Can't complain though...we got LeBron, and that's all that matters.

The Cavs/Bron fan in me says that Bron has yet to go Super Saiyan, and that he could very well still Rise Up and take over...but the realist in me is hoping we can get a couple at home, and that LeBron and co. benefit from being this close to a title.

We are getting the Nellie/Avery treatment in a major way. The games aren't really indicative of the actual gap between the teams, but the coaching is making a huge difference.

BTW, did anyone know Horry's hero was Scottie Pippen? Think about it when looking back that this guy could literally have 7 rings and was never a superstar. Just a successful career.
