Any lip readers out there? I think the first two words are "please don't", after that I can't really tell.

Actually, I think either Utah or Houston would beat GS in a seven game series. Both play far better defense than the Mavs (especially in transition, where Dallas was atrocious), and both have enough of an inside game to make GS pay for going small. Then you have to factor in home court and Davis' hamstring injury last night, which is the sort of thing that only extended rest can heal.

I'm convinced the GS feel good story will end in the semi's, regardless of who they face.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

I think GS would roll over Houston or Utah. I think they have the confidence that they could play against any team in the League, plus they're on a hot streak.

I can see them at least getting to the WC Finals.

I really think you guys are underestimating the significance of Davis' hamstring injury. He gutted it out last night, but that was when he was warmed up and had the adreneline flowing. This morning I'll bet he's having a hard time walking.

BD is the engine that makes GS go. Without him at 100%, the Warriors are just another smallish jumpshooting team.

I dont really blame you for the comment about transition defense because you dont watch us play muc (besides this series).

But you should know that we get the majority of our fastbreak points off turnovers and blocked shots... thats why the mavs werent running back quickly.

Were not liek the suns who just take the first open shot and rebound and break alllll the time.

I agree, he wont be a hundred percent for the rest of the playoffs. Hes officially a defensive liability at this point, and who know how it will feel after a night of rest.

With that said, they should hope the face Houston, because Williams will take him to the hole every play if the get Utah.

Monta Ellis is going to need to step up big as well if the injury takes Davis down to around 75% or less.

P.S. Can u guys give us Pietrus after this year? I like that guy

True, Baron's injury is the only thing that gives Houston or Utah an edge, IMO. If Baron's able to go and contribute mightily, I think GS could beat either team.

Man I can't wait for the Bulls and Pistons to finally get it on! BTW, I hate the NBA playoff scheduling...takes way too long to finish a series. Another gripe is that the West Coast games start way too late(9:30PM CST). I mean I stay up for about a quarter and it's already 10:30PM CST.

Its been that way since they switched to the 7-game format for the first round. The sometimes long breaks in-between games kills momentum as well.

I really don't understand why there has to be 2 days off when the teams are going to be playing in the same city. I mean the Bulls and Miami played on 4/21, 4/24, 4/27, and 4/29. It just doesn't make any sense to me.
