How can there be "no doubt" about such a hypothetical statement? They had Amare and Diaw in games 1, 3, and 6 and still lost. So please let me know where you got that What If machine that showed you what would happen if they played in Game 5.

That's completely wrong. Mavs have shown that they were a good point guard away from winning a championship. They got rid of their great point guard and will not win a championship with their currently assembled team. They have home court though...so they stay where they are.
