Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
You said you hate the NBA...so why post in the NBA forums?
Personally, I'd rather watch paint dry than watch baseball. I find baseball the most boring sport in the world. Just a complete waste of time.
I don't go over to the baseball forums to say "reason number 200000000 i don't watch this crap" though...
The baseball forums are there for people who like it. Not for me to come over and tell them i don't like it...Comment

Now if you'll all excuse me, I have celebrating to do, while you wonder what it would be like for your team to be in this position.Comment

What i find funny is how people don't point out how the Jazz pull scratch slap and bump all of the time and get away with it, but act surprised when they start getting called for stuff.
Fisher would've been told that he should've kept his cool if he were Baron Davis or Stephen Jackson, so why does he get a pass and it's the refs fault?
Hard winning at home when the refs won't allow you to play Karl Malone ball in the 4th.Comment

i actually think that they would be pretty evenly matched if they werent getting the type of calls they are getting. its really hurting the game of basketball with the way the spurs play. pretty soon the entire league will be full of players like vlade divac and ginobli because thats the only way they can keep up with the stupid calls. i personally used to love ginobli until i realized how dirty he is and how much he flops! and i dont even want u guys to watch Oberto for a few plays and see how many elbows and cheap shots he throws every time down the floor lolComment

Fisher had his cool. He just went and fouled Manu and they called a Tech for no reason. The refs are the ones that lost their cool. Calling tech's for cheeseball plays. I wonder who is responsible for these technicals and for these referees.
Manu played well, but he got away with quite a few flops during the game.Comment

Exactly.
Manu is a lot of things, a puss however is not one of them. He's not scared of anyone in the league, and he'll go full throttle into the teeth of any team. I have to respect that. It's not his fault refs don't do their jobs, and call things that shouldn't be called.Comment

Jazz don't get as many flop calls as Spurs do though. Yes Jazz and the rest of the NBA have their way. Wade has his way, kobe has his way, Shaq used to have his way, and I'm sure Jordan had his way. There is something terribly wrong with the nba and I think all of us need to be aware of it and do something about it rather than just complaining about it.
