I'm not Kobe basher. I give him credit for playing well for his team. But you stated you call people's opinions idiotic, but you actually called some people idiots. Show some respect. You can make your point without name calling, unless that's all you're about. Taking it too personal.

I used to like the Lakers when they had Nick, Eddie, Kobe, Elden & Shaq, but I haven't since they traded Nick, Elden,and Eddie. I don't have to be a ***** because the Lakers aren't my favorite team.

I think we are all entitled to good or bad opinions no matter how you feel about it. At least Laker fans like Shakobe can be respectful and still be a fan of LA.

I am definitley not a Kobe fan. But why is everyone hating on this guy's parade? As i see it, he's making the game of basketball exciting, what's wrong with that? Don't tell me he isn't cuz he has over 50 replies on jus this post alone. Obviously he caused a stir. I'm glad there's someone like him around, making highlights. Are you telling me you rather watch Tim "Mr. Fundamentals" Duncan all night long??? Yes TD great but we need these players to take it to another world, be crazy almost. Thats why there getting paid millions of dollars, to entertain us. Jus like what Kobe is doing. I saw a comment about how Kobe is copying jordan, doesn't have his own style ect. Who better to copy?! Jordan is labled the best player of all time, everyone should who has the ability to should try to copy him!! Every single move in basketball has been copied from someone previous, and Kobe's jus using what works. If i had the ability to score 40+ points a game, then i'm gonna do it, no questions ask. That's telling Wilt Chamberlein "Hey man, you need to stop scoring 50 a night, let the other guys shoot ok?" Give me a break. Another note, i'm glad Kobe has faults still like not being able to make his teammates better. I dunno about you, but i like to see great players still have weaknesses. Jus imagine if he did make his teammates better. The NBA would be so boring, Lakers would win every game. Again jus be glad there's players like Kobe around, so that your favorite player has someone worthy to challenge. Jus imagine you r favorite team beat Michael Jordan and the Bulls in the finals, no other opponent would be as sweet to beat. You want to beat the best. And Kobe is now, and its gonna be so much sweeter when your favorite team kills Kobes and the Lakers. I'm glad he's great, makes me hate the Lakers more!!!!

Sorry dude, I gotta agree on that one. Well, partyly. He makes them better to an extent. He doesn't make them look like super stars, let alone stars. That may be because they can't hit any shots, but still, he doesn't elevate their game to the next level. But to me, that is the definition of making your teammates better.

I could be wrong though, they could be serious scrubs on other teams and not even get any PT. So, he could be doing something to elevate them. To me though, it just seems like he puts everyone on his back and carries them. No wonder his leg hurts.

RockinDaMike, I also agree with you accept for the part of Kobe doesn't make his teamates better. The rest of the Lakers players are to old and they suck!! I'm a Laker fan so I watch allot of Laker games and Kobe tries to set his teammates up but they just can't hit the open shot. Now tell me how do you make a player better if their skills are mediocre. The great players like Mike, Bird, Magic, Wilt had a great supporting cast. Do you remember West, Worthy, Parish, Pippen, Paxson, Rodman, Green, Kareem ect. Kobe has Shaq but after that tell me who can score. Who cares if Kobe takes 40 shots no one else in the team want to shot it. And who else better to shot the ball than the players that every off season work really hard on his game.

I was gonna start another thread, but there are so many Kobe threads going around, I decided to just put it in one of them. Did anyone watch the Utah game last night. The entire crowd was booing Kobe for most of the game, and then near the end, they were all cheering him. They were clapping for him and yelling MVP and stuff like that. It was very interesting. I guess they already knew they lost, but damn, it's Utah, they've always had good and loyal fans. I'm not sayint that they betraded their team or anything, but cheering for the other teams star and yelling MVP. That's crazy. Kobe's converted all the mormons into Lakers. Haha

Kobe was also surprised at this and said he thought he was at Staples Center. Funny stuff.
