The thing I hate most about Kobe is that he is NOT original at all. His whole game is a direct copy of MJ. He talks and walks like MJ. He does not have his own style to seperate himself from MJ. He is just an MJ wannabe IMO. Thus, I get no excitement in watching Kobe play. I see a bad version of MJ on the court. Jordan looked the part. Kobe looks like a goofy version of MJ.

it's not about the stats! man but i think what kobe is doping is for himself, he has to share the rock sometimes. and that makes a leader of a team

That's why he'll never be considered better than MJ. Lots of people hate him because he needs to play selfish in order to get Jordan-esque recognition. If he wasn't breaking any records, faking injuries, trying to replicate Jordan's flu game, Jordan's 3-point barrage, etc, he'd probably be accepted by more fans of the NBA.

And besides that.. he has Shaq. Like 1/2 of the world hates Shaq.. so why not hate Kobe, too?

i just dont like kobe because when he can set a record for triple double, he'll attempt 14 shots a game, and when he can set a record for scoring, he'll shoot 40 times a game.

he talks about how its all about winning every year and its a joke. Against the Cavs he attempted 14 shots and watched his team missed shot after shot because he wanted to get a triple double, he gave up open lanes, he gave up open shots, he just wanted to pass, pass, pass.

now its the opposite, now that he can set a record for scoring, hes shoot, shoot, shoot.

I just don't like the fact that because the Lakers aren't youre favorite team, Laker fans label you as a *****. I never knew everyone has to favor them.

Shaq does have a bad attitude,which makes people not like him, and we all know as talented as Kobe is, he's not doing much that hasn't been seen or done already(dunk on a 7 footer, on a Denver Nugget, score 40, or 50, win 3 titles, or anything else anyone can name, except be a lead in the I Wanna Be Like Mike media frenzy).

Not taking anything away from what he's doing now either, but it's like a cheap carbon copy of MJ. What makes him now all of a sudden better than Magic, Worthy, Kareem, etc.., and now MJ, when those guys especially MJ took B-ball global and made it what it is today.

This guy is really good, but he is not the greatest scorer, or MVP, or the greatest ever, or the greatest without Shaq, or the destroyer, or all of this senseless hype the Kobe jockers are imagining. I say jockers only because of statements like what Ralph Wiley said like MJ is barely past Kobe because his hands are bigger, and it gives him more ball control, and calls all of the greatest ever story he wrote a hyperbole.

Check this out. On 11/5/2002 Kobe played 41 minutes, took 13 shots, finished with 15 points, 13 rebounds, 9 assist, and 5 TOs. Obviously going for his precious triple double.

Ok.. that didn't work. Now lets go for points. 2 days later on 11/7/2002 Kobe takes 47 shots (yes, 47, including 8 missed 3-pointers) ends with 41 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assist, and 5 TOs.

The Lakers loose both game...

How can you take 13 shots one game, and almost 50 the next? huh?
