    That's why I asked.

I didn't see the final minute or so, I just assumed the Blazers were letting the clock run out and there was no shot clock. It makes sense now.

Exactly.. why does Kobe need to break MJ's record? what is he trying to proove? that he's better than Jordan?.

Think from multiple perspectives before you question someone's intelligence based on their opinion.

Yes, I can act smart. Just like you.

Ever since he broke the 3 point record he has been on fire from downtown. I think he is nearing 40% from behind the arc. I would still like him to get to the hoop a lot more because I still think he's very effective at that. It's crazy because a lot of the threes he makes are with hands in his face.

That now seems to be his main source of points. Nothings wrong with it, but his sudden jump to taking a lot more threes and making them is impressive.

yea i heard that he's been practising with a ball thats about the same circumference of the rim so he hass to be accurate to make his shots in practice. that might explain his jump shot improving.

If a record was at hand, why wouldn't you wanna break it? Why do people try to break Guiness records all the time. There was even a TV show about Guiness records. Records are made to be broken. Track Stars all want the dubious WR in the 100 meters, aint nothing wrong with chasing a record.

This is like Hank Aaron chasing the Babe, or Maris beating out Mantle. People had big issues with those too
