It's KG with no doubt. He's been the the most consistent player this year leading a pretty bad team to the 4th spot in the west. Kobe can't even get the Lakers higher than 6th, Duncan has a lot of role players on his team, and McGrady... well the fact he's at the bottom of the east doesn't help his cause.

I think Sczerbiak is a great player.
He shoots 46% including 40% from three land with 5 boards, 3 assists and 17 PPG. That's pretty good.
You could argue T-Mac has Gooden. Before Gooden it was Mike Miller - who's a lot like Sczerbiak.
But then compare Minnesota's performance with Orlando and you find out that maybe KG deserves MVP more than Orlando. I mean, you could argue that the rest of T-Mac's team and the rest of KG's team are pretty similar in many ways.
Minnesota's in a tougher conference too.Comment

Re: All MVP Talk
I think Wally is a good player, but definitely not great.
KG deserves it. Did you guys see his sick triple dip last night. It was amazing. He had 29pts, 12assists, 14rbs, 2blcks, and a steal.
That guy does it all.
I gotta agree with the things said about TMac too. He's a great individual talent, and he puts up some crazy mad numbers, but his team ranking is really low, especially in the east. The TWolves are in the top 5 of the super competitive west. And I think the Magic and Wolves supporting cast is pretty similar (pre-trade, Orlando looks better post-trade now)Comment

Re: All MVP Talk
Ok, after the last 2 games, I think KG really deserves it now. He had a huge triple double the other night. And last night, he got 31pts (on 14-20 shooting), 18rbs, 5assts, a steal, and a block. And on top of that, they beat the Mavs. He does it all my friends, he does it all.Comment

I think he's the best player in the league...even better and more dominant than Shaq.
Shaq's FG% is 55% while KG's is 50%. Both are about the best FG%'s in the NBA.
Now KG can do almost everything except shoot threes (even from there he shoots 31%). He averages 24 Points, 13 Rebounds and 5 assists a game. FT% is 78%.
In my mind KG is no.1 the best player right now in basketball and no.2 the MVP for taking his otherwise crappy team to the playoffs.Comment

Re: All MVP Talk
Last year I was predicting KG for MVP this year. He is the best all round player in the game, simple as that. The problem with Duncan is he can't dribble. Shaq can't hit a free throw. Kobe is on fire one month then settles down to 11-24 shooting a game. McGrady can't play defense, and neither can his teamates...Comment
