Actually, it does matter. It shows how great of player he is and how smart he is. The fact that he can play by international rules (and win a World Championship) and then adapt it to take advantage of NBA rules (and win several NBA championships) just makes him a SMART player.

Ginobili, Oberto, Scola, and Nocioni kicked Superstars from the USA's asses and that to me is a WHACK team compared to anything that the USA was going to use. And yet... who has the gold medal.

That list that has Ginobili as the 17th greatest SG of all time or somethin... has it right. Ginobili has more accolades than most players can claim for themselves. Also, without Manu, the Spurs don't have 3 rings. They might not even have one.

Actually, WE were talking about Ginobili's accomplishments. Nobody said anything about just his NBA accomplishments. In fact if you look at the quotes below we specifically mentioned some of his accolades from international play.

Never once did you specify his <b>NBA</b> accolades. In fact you clearly saw us talking about Ginobili's success both in the NBA and <b>internationally</b> and wanted to know what his accolades were. Now after I point out to you that he obviously has a TON of individual awards, you respond with "we weren't talking about Euroleague crap", even though as I've pointed out, we clearly were talking about his success in both the NBA and <b>internationally</b>. BTW, do you realize that team USA no longer dominates European basketball? Ginobili was the tournament MVP when Argentina BEAT USA for the Gold in the 2004 Olympics. But I guess that's just more of that "Euroleague crap" and even though he beat NBA players it doesn't count b/c it wasn't in the NBA.
