Are you a Suns fan? Do you realize Raja Bell flops just as much as anyone? Nash flops too. You ever watch Nash play the pick and roll defensively. He tries to run through it and flops a lot and gets the call a lot. Seriously, all of these Manu haters seem completely blind to the fact that there are other players in the league who flop just as much. I understand if you don't like someone but to say his game doesn't demand "undeniable" respect b/c he knows the rules of the league and flops, is just ridiculous. He is an Olympic Champion and an NBA Champion but apparently his game doesn't demand "undeniable" respect.

Oh, and for someone who's obviously a fan of Shawn Marion you really should consider not saying someone plays like a b**** or a p**** or whatever you meant. You do realize that Shawn Marion may not play like one but actually is a b****. Here's a guy who was the highest paid player on a team with Amare and the 2x MVP in Nash. He also played the most minutes and was a key player on one of the top teams in the league and he wanted out. He had the perfect situation and acted like a baby and tried to force his way out during the off-season.

I'm with you man...I completely understand not liking a guy but some of these things people are saying are just ridiculous. I can't stand Wade but you won't see me posting that he isn't a great player and his game doesn't deserve respect.

              Re: Felt Bad for Manu

I actually said his skillset DOES command undeniable respect but since he plays like a puss, he won't get as much as he would otherwise deserve.

And you must be new here, because I'm the first to point out when my players flop and I can't ****ing stand it. Everyone knows it, maybe you should look through my past posts.

Your comprehension of the Marion situation is wrong, too. Yes he had all those things but he wanted to opt out after this year because he felt that he could get 20 million on the open market. That was the main reason. Also, if you got treated the way he got treated by some of the Suns fans after some subpar series', and were constantly involved in trade rumors, you'd feel slighted too.

              Thanks, try again.

Manu carried Argentina to a true world championship in international play where the refs dont go for flopping, and where they dont bail out the players constantly.

that is one reason why our NBA superstars from the US have had problems in international play lately...they are used to getting bailed out by the refs so often and that doesnt happen as often in international play.

lol Nash flops as often as Manu...does his flopping lose your respect for his skillset? Does Nash "play like a puss"?

Actually you said, his skillset WOULD demand undeniable respect IF he didn't play like a *****. Then you followed that up by saying the way he plays is offensive and disgusting to what basketball should be. So by your reasoning, because of your belief that he "plays like a *****" means that his skillset DOESN'T demand undeniable respect.

As for the Marion situation, how is my comprehension of it wrong? I never said WHY he wanted out. I merely pointed out how good he had it over there and how he started crying about wanting to leave. Did that not happen? You point out that Marion opted out b/c he felt like he could get $20 million. This proves my point exactly. Marion is one of the aforementioned guys with an ego. Like I said before he was already the highest paid player on a team with Stoudemire and 2x MVP Nash and he wanted to leave b/c he felt like he could get MORE money. He is already making over $16 million this season and $17 million next season but apparently he really wanted that extra few million.

Seriously, you defend Marion even though he's proven to be one of the players with an ego; who forced his way out b/c of an extra few million dollars (even though he was getting paid more than Nash and Stoudemire). And you have a Nash avatar and then complain about Ginobili flopping. I'm a fan of Nash and believe that he should be 3x MVP but he flops just as much as Ginobili.

I'm gonna have to agree with ZB9 on this one:

I say for the rest of the season,we keep track of the number of times Nash and Ginobili flop and whoever has the most will be awarded the "FOTY" award
