    I don't understand the issue

Also, D'Antoni and Walsh said he would have a great chance to start so they obviously think he is a better point guard than anyone they currently have on their roster. Steve Nash was good but under D'Antoni he was a perpetual MVP candidate. I don't think you can go wrong with D'Antoni grooming a point guard.

Also, some people just look at 7 pts and 5 assists and just assume he's terrible when much more goes into determining the players value. Although I'll admit it's pretty damn entertaining reading through some of these threads.

LOL @ the J-Will mention. C'mon, you gotta do better than that. We're gonna suck for the next 2 years anyway. Duhon is decent. He can D up and he's not Marbury. End of story.

Duhon is a solid PG. He brings one thing to the table that most Knick players can't even define. Leadership.

If there is anyone on that team I would want running the floor at this point it would be him. I watched him for the last years in Chicago and he is a top notch PG.

Don't see why everyone is complaining. Guess it is just simple Knick fan mentality. Complain when your team makes a good move and do cartwheels when they sign the likes of Q-Rich.

For real? Missing team shoot arounds, film sessions, being late and then responding to his suspension with, "It's not like I was playing a lot anyway," qualifies as leadership?

              Floor leadership.

Although I can't say all that was positive, I don't remember a player in Chicago last year that didn't make the news in a negative way.

He's a solid player, and that's the role he's being brought in for. Even if he starts, it's just to manage the team. It's not like they're paying him 40 million and calling him a savior, like they with most role players. I think some of this is just Duke haters coming out of the woodwork.

I'll admit that I'm a little confused by Chicago fans dumping on him. Out of all of their guards, he's the one I'd be least upset at. Hinrich is overpaid and dogged it last year. Gordon won't defend and can't start. Duhon is the only dude that does his job over there, lmao.

Clue me in here. Im a long time knick fan that has slowly drifted away toward being a die hard Giant fan due to the Ultra suckiness of the knicks.

I thought Duhon was a good shooter. ??

I think some of these people are off their rocker. Duhon's stats don't tell me dude is all that with shooting. I know he pops up alot of 3's and he's only alright at it.

Dude couldn't beat out Hinrich and yet he gets all this praise? I don't see it. And what the hell is he going to do on the Knicks? Not only do they suck...badly...but they still have Marbury, Robinson and Collins at the PG spot. I highly doubt he will be in enough to have any impact on the team. This was a waste.

Not only is Marbury a pariah, but he is coming off of surgery. Nate Robinson hardly ever plays point. Crawford slides over to point and Nate plays off of the ball.

Again, this was a waste. The Knick Knacks should be more worried about getting rid of the slop that is on that team and getting under the cap for once.

His four seasons in the NBA's FG% look like this...

                            .352
                            .400

                            .387

and this is playing more than half the season his first three years, and more than a 1/3 of the 2008 season. His career shooting percentage is 38.7%

Mardy Collins is a backup on a bad team. Chris Duhon is the best point guard on the Knicks, unless Marbury some how magically buys into D'Antoni's sales pitch, and that isn't going to happen. Something will piss him off and he'll be ostracized, and Mardy and Duhon will split time at the point.

Just for the record, I think Duhon's percentages will rise in a better offensive system. More over, it's not his job to shoot. The Knicks have plenty of people that can put the ball in the hole, but no one who knows when not to.

Duhon was on a team where he had to work for his own shot. No low post presense and just other streaky shooters around him. He showed he can do it but that isn't his kind of game. Here he has Curry and Randloph down low. I don't think he will be amazing but he will be a really solid PG on the Knicks.

Marbury is a great guard, but no point guard. Robinson yeah but Collins? Seriously, Collins? Duhon is Magic Johnson compared to Collins.

I think Duhon will do really well on this team and I'm happy for him because in the Bulls there was just no room.
