thank you man this is getting WAY out of hand because i cant believe ppl are saying that lebron can hurt his team the way iverson can if he dominates the ball too much....i would agree if u said this about kobe but not lebron...lebron's court vision is heads and tails above kobe's and now lebron has come completely out of nowhere and made himself into one of the top defenders in the league within a matter of months...its actually unbelievable to watch...i have nba league pass and i focus in on his defense and its like he's not even the same person over the past few months, as if someone threatened to take his life if he didn't start playing on the defensive end lol...that blocked dunk by chris bosh should not be taken lightly because i can only think of three other guys in the league who could cleanly make that block without fouling and thats turiaf, howard, and josh smith and thats it. As crazy as it sounds i dont even think its close anymore when it comes down to who the best player in the league is, and where talking about a guy who at this point has not even an average jumper that seems to be getting better by the day...i really think lebron playing on that olympic team meant so much more for him than any other player that was on the team, for him to actually realize the dedication that it takes for his team to get to the next level. Now with that being said mo williams was by far the best addition to any team and is an allstar point guard and better than jameer nelson!!

Re: 2/2-2/8 NBA Discussion
Ariza did play in the Finals(not many minutes) and even though he wasn't 100% he still made some good plays. I honestly don't see us taking this game tonight, our D has been horrid for quite some time now. Would be awesome to take a W, but I ain't counting on it. I'd rather take a dub over the Crabs.XBL: DTX3

Re: 2/2-2/8 NBA Discussion
Retired Jazz star Karl Malone will be in-studio throughout the evening, serving as a guest analyst alongside host Ernie Johnson and regular analyst Kenny Smith for tonight's NBA on TNT doubleheader, which includes national cable-TV airing of the Jazz-Mavs game
god bless you TNT, no Gary Payton.
hope that dude is never on TV ever againComment

Re: 2/2-2/8 NBA Discussion
Last 5 games, Kobe's averaged 38 minutes
It's a back to back, in Boston
K.G. will probably be back
Lakers' D has been non-existent
Celtics have been on a 12-game winning streakComment

This could be a game where James Posey is missed.
His defense on KoMe in the Finals last year is something that I don't think anybody else on that team could replicate.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2/2-2/8 NBA Discussion
So-so start. They've gotten a few lucky breaks and contested a few shots, but their transition D is terrible and they have to take care of the ball much better.
EDIT: On cue, they have two turnovers and give up 5 points in transition.
EDIT2: I love the way Gasol is playing all year. He's playing much more like the 2nd option, and a leader. He's been aggressive and drawing fouls. If he does that when it counts, the Lakers have a real chance. There is no one in the league that can guard Gasol when he goes at them. He's got too many moves, and he's too quick.Last edited by Bornindamecca; 02-05-2009, 09:12 PM.Comment
