Re: "RealGM" top 100 NBA player of all time list
Danny is a good player no doubt but I just found it odd that you threw his name out there over some other younger players who are more established and have accomplished more (CP3, Dwight, Joe Johnson, etc...)
Nothing personalComment

And how did the US do that year?
Every where this dude goes, he loses. Doesn't deserve to be in the top 50.

Curious as to why you have Moncrief listed on your greatest players yet you have the Glove on your overrated list.Siney Moncrief: A two time Defensive Player of the Year. Made the all defensive 1st or 2nd team five times. Did I mention he was a very good scorer? He could get his shot off against any defender, he could run like a cougar, pass the ball effectively, and rebound as well as anyone at his position. He was the very definition of an all around player. Obviously defense isn't very sexy for you fantasy ballers out there.<!-- / message --><!-- edit note -->
1 defensive player of the year Awards
9 time Defensive first team All-NBA
9 time all NBA
Better career average in pts, asts, and stealsComment

-Allen Iverson led Georgetown to a great season
-been to the NBA Playoffs 8 times out of his 12 year career, 6 of those years were with the 6ers which 5 of those were year after year, including the 2001 season where he was almost traded to Det...He led the 6ers to tha finals the same year...boy that sixers team was sure talented...
FYI he was the ONLY player to show heart on that 2004 olympic team...Im done..Comment

That's nice, but no hardware to show for it. He's a great player, but worse teammate. No rings, no gold, horrible nickname, and in top 50?

Re: "RealGM" top 100 NBA player of all time list
Valid question. Gary Payton was a shoot first point guard (admittedly, not my favorite type of player) who posted smaller guards and had to come off of screens to get his shots off. The Bulls totally dismantled Gary Payton's defense in the finals and made "the glove" seem more like "the mitten". Most times he would gamble for steals (failing a good amount of the time) which placed the onus on his teammates to bail him out. Payton was routinely mentioned among the game's greats during his hey days. In comparison, Moncrief was overshadowed because he played in Milwaukee. There is no doubt that a team featuring Moncrief would have a better chance at winning a championship than a team featuring a shoot first point guard like Payton.Comment
