Sad that he left the Wiz. Wish him luck in whichever franchise (Charlotte) he goes to.

The Wizards better win the NBA title next year for Abe Pollin to make such a move. Mike may have not been the best GM, but his was not as bad as everybody made him to be. He needed more time and 3 1/2 is not enough time for even Jerry West to turn a franchise around, especially such a franchise as the bottom feeders Wizards. Mike will move on and has learn from his mistakes. He said it himself that he won't look for guys that lack heart and dedication. The Wizard players don't know how good they had it. Let see if they even win 25 games next year.

Disappointing....The whole Washington Wizards thing all seems a little pointless now as he wont be their to finish what he started.

The new Charlotte Franchise will be a challenge though, from the ground up. I bet he will be geared up for it too considering the critiscism he has recieved about his capabilities as a GM.

Considering the fact that the entire team wasn't really looking to follow along with the plan he had anyway, I think it's best that he start fresh somewhere else. I think he may take the Bulls offer John Paxson threw his way.

The Wiz are good at getting rid of good people. Now in management, Wes Unseld, now MJ.

Yea, I agree with you KDRE. He might and he should return to chicago now that his arch-nemesis Krause is out the picture.

I honestly feel the other wizards pain tho, just imagine playing besides your boss, the man who hired you and can fire you, night in and night out. I already heard that Lue was so frightened by his presence that he constantly worked the ball to jordan in close situations, and also kept looking at him when jordan was on the bench to gain his approval.

I think the Wiz will do good without Jordan, he was a good player in Washington, but a complete waste of space IMO. Thats should of been Stack's team.

And I also dont think he'll do the Charlotte franchise. I know he likes challeges but rebuilding from the ground up is just ludicris. Especially from a 3 year,non-experience GM such as Jordan.

I think it should've been Stack's team, but Stack was not up to the responsibility. The stories you hear aren't all true either. Lue was one of the guys MJ wanted, and was one of the guys looked at to stay. You didn't hear Lue making excuses on why he couldn't play. You hear stuff like MJ taking time away from PF and C positions which is absurd. If the guys would play, they'd get the minutes. I have some insider articles on how Kwame's work ethic was. I think those players should have just played instead of crying all of the time.

The team with Rip, and co. sucked it up a year before with not one superstar on the team, and would have made the playoffs if MJ didn't go down with that knee injury. Why couldn't these guys do the same.

As far as playing with your boss, don't you think it would be better if you and your boss had the same goals, and helped eachother, and felt like a real team, instead of resisting everything he says, and blame him for not doing the job you are paid to do. At the end of the day, you still have to do your job. You can't say MJ wasn't trying to lead by example, diving on the floor, and giving everything his 40 yr old body could.
