I think Twitter has been positive so far. Without it, this could have gone on for months and years without Beasley getting some help. Now he has a vehicle for his attention getting antics, and the problems get exposed and dealt with right away. When this stuff goes on behind closed doors, owners can manage it to protect the name of the organization and the trade value of the player. Now Beasley won't be rewarded for being a messed up, lazy, irresponsible pot head.


For the people saying "it's only weed, why does he need rehab", please take your heads out of your behinds. You can abuse anything that gets you high, and with his paychecks, he's probably not smoking dimebag ragweed. He's got access to the stickiest of the icky, and you can't treat that stuff like the dirt they sell on the streets.

I didn't know he was on COPS also. The developments keep on coming in.

I agree though. When I think of junkies, I don't think of potheads. But, I do think of laziness and irresponsibility. Hopefully, he gets his head on straight.
