I would love McGrady on the Knicks for a half season try out.

Especially if you can pawn off another hideous contract (Jefferies, Curry)

If he rounds into shape and holds up physicaly...knicks could give him the mid level and sign 2 max contract guys.

Dont think Houston will be that generous though.

The Rockets aren't going to trade him just to trade him and take garbage back, just so T-Mac can get paid next season. Morey will aggressively look for offers, and if no one wants him, or people are offering crap, then it's a good possibility that he expires in Houston. If he wants to play that bad he can buy himself out and give Houston back the money that he has collected from home over the years.
Adelman is the coach man, he can give Tmac whatever he wants to give him. All of that cant find minutes stuff is garbage. He was just never in his plans from the beginning and it was likely true that he said early in the season he had no plans of ever playing him anyway.

I hate how they spew lies to the fans and people run with it. Sure wasnt hard to fit him in that 22 win streak team..lol

Why do Knicks fans always think that anyone would want Curry for anything? Jefferies can get moved and probably will before the deadline because he is a very good perimeter player but Curry, no way.

Bulls have shown interested in T-Mac. Looks like they are offering close to what I suggested earlier. Expiring contracts of James and Miller and Salmons for T-Mac. I thought they would offer James, Miller and Hinrich.

I like Hinrich man, I wouldn't want to trade him.

How does this address Chicago's inside problem though

No way they're getting a superstar or close to it for a injury prone player with a expiring contract and to top it off we don't even know what he really has left.

It doesn't but it addresses their go to guy problem big time.

Martin isn't getting moved. At least not now until they see how he meshes with that Kings lineup.

It should be interesting. No one is going to gamble too much, especially a young team. To top it off the Rockets GM is difficult to trade with from what I've heard/read. The situation we may see is resolving these issues and T-Mac coming back.

Unless they really don't want to bother and will trade him for anything decent.

At least the fans are pretty delusional in there, not sure about the GM. He plays moneyball alot so you have to factor that into the equation.

Right now I dont think your go to guy should be someone coming off of this kind of a surgery. In the least bit though they'll get a heck of a play making wing and an expiring contract from the leagues highest paid player.

Other than that, man it would be a pretty thin frontline which is Chicago's main problem.

It's not about what TMac has left. He probably doesn't have much left.

It's about his expiring contract nothing more.

Anyway, where are the people who got mad at me for calling Tmac a role player.

They should've traded him 2 years ago like i was saying if they wanted to possibly do that. Not anymore

he has a lot more left than people are giving him credit for...IMO

dude has been injured (knee) for like 3 years man...

that stuff takes awhile to come back from...plus hes not even close to being in shape.

Sure, but would you say he will be anything more than a role player?

Being a role player isn't an insult.

When you say he has "a lot more left than people give him credit for", what exactly are you saying?

I never got insulted by you saying that.

I'm just saying...he will have a lot more to offer...hes not "done"...he got injured.

what is a "role" player...every player has role man...thats a phrase that needs to die.

T-Mac is an injured star player...

If he goes to the bulls he will be the best player on the team.

                              Wow.

                              1. I didn't say you got insulted. I was saying it's not an insult to be considered a role player.

                              2. Why does the phrase role player need to die? LOL.. what's so bad about it? It's a perfect phrase.

                              3. If he goes to Chicago.. he will definitely not be the best player. I hope you're joking.

A good topic for debate would be: which teams would TMac be the best player on.

I guess only time will tell.
