    Re: Allen Iverson RETIRING

Since you are so smart? How did Detroit and how did Memphis give him a second chance? you must be joking if you think the Grizzles gave AI a chance all they wanted from him was his ability to sells tickets and thats it. Ill stop my "love" for the guy when somebody makes a statement that is actually true.

The kid complained about minutes after what? 1-2 games!? Memphis didn't have to sign him, but they did. He had a chance to redeem himself in Detroit and Memphis, yet he still chose to do "him". Well he did himself real good this time.

What teams has he torn up? He never had a roster to work with. The most talented team Iverson ever been on was the Nuggets, and the reason they never won is Karl's insistence on starting Anthony Carter in the backcourt with him. It's surprising they won 50 games when Iverson was the tallest guard in that backcourt. Lets not even mention that Nene and K-Mart were injured half the time.

P.S. Who are those chicks in your avi? DAAAYUM!

Again how he did he get a chance to redeem himself in Detroit? What did he do that he needed to redeem himself? please I would like to know.

BTW those two bimbos in your icon look smarter than anything your saying right now.

Sad he has to go out this way but it's on him for it being like this.

I never loved A.I. or hated him but I did respect the player he was and think he's a first ballot Hall of Famer, no doubt.

They treated him like a step-child. Iverson was the anti-hero to the corporate NBA. The dress code was instituted because of him. While I agree that there comes a time when a grown man should start dressing like one, it was not an issue until Iverson was rocking doo-rags with the jerseys and platinum chains. No one said anything when Steve Nash wore his Hawaiian shirts. Now Nash has to dress up, and I'm sure he's pissed about it.

**** i really hope he doesn't retire, he should just be patient and sign with the right team, heck there were reports the celtics were considering him just yesterday. Even if he does retire tho, doubt it'll last, people that competitive can't let go and he will come out of retirement when the right team calls imo. Anyways~

                          Re: Allen Iverson RETIRING

AI IS a first ballot HOF, no doubt about it. AI seemed selfish sometimes to me, but I saw an interview once where he almost broke down while trying to defend himself from the ball hog label that he had been stuck with. AI just wanted to win, and he realized that he WAS the best scoring option on the 76ers for pretty much his whole career. AI became one of my favorite players after that interview, because I saw how much he really cared about winning and I already knew that he would throw himself around like a rag doll for 48 minutes, 82 games a season.

                          PS :
Paul Pierce is a HOF, Ray Allen is on the fence, Stephon Marbury will NEVER get into the HOF.

Don't forget the one ref that had it in for him and wouldn't give him any calls (can't remember his name).

Not this BS again...AI has more threads then the NBA 10 forums...

CV, exactly what teams got better?

His legacy is the Sixers and is not tarnish...People wont even remember this 10years from now..

By the looks of all the AI threads alone just on OS, he was the most popular player since Jordan, Shaq and etc...Braids, tattoos, "swagger" on the courts is all AI...AI had people rocking braids like Jay Z had dudes wearing button up and Air force ones...

I'm sure you can, i'm just not sure there'd be any substance in it.

But I don't feel like it. I have other things to do.
