Nets - They kinda killed their chances by winning less than 15 games and not guaranteeing a move to Brooklyn.

Brooklyn is a guarantee. Don't know where you heard otherwise unless you haven't been following it as much, which in that case I wouldn't blame you after our mess this year.

Brooklyn or no Brooklyn, I cannot see LeBron on the Nets. If he's going to a bigger market, it certainly won't be to the Nets.

Nope, but his situation could be better.

Imagine if LeBron couldve chosen to be drafted initially by Cleveland or LA or NY. Which would he choose?
Big markets give more exposure, more endorsements, more bright lights and thus more cash(which is what LeBron likes).

After this season, if Cleveland doesnt win it all, he will probably leave.
The centers are all past their prime and the coach will have done all that he could. Probably need a better coach and surrounding players.
LeBron can only do so much to carry a team.

Do you really think LeBron is suffering because Cleveland is a "tiny" market?

And I couldn't see Favre playing for any other team other than Green Bay. Stranger things have happened in Sports so it wouldn't be a surprise(well to me it would)if he ended up there.

Everybody knows he ain't goin' nowhere but at the sametime it's not crazy to mention them as a possibility even though most Nets fans knew he wasn't coming here and gave up on that dream back in 07. Now as far as the other team across the river goes, they've been holding out hope for him to go there for the last 5-6 years for really no reason.

It'll be the Clippers or Bulls if not the Cavs.

Clippers - I doubt he wants to compete with Kobe and the Lakers in that city.

I thought competing with Kobe and the Lakers would work in favor of him signing with the Clippers,not something that would go against their chances. To dust off an old wrestling saying "To be the man,you've gotta beat the man!".

Because without Lebron, the Cavs are still a very, very good defensive team. They win on defense and rebounding, which puts Lebron in a position to handle the bulk of the plays with a great deal of success. The Clippers have not proven that they can be a great defensive team, and Lebron would most likely not change that. Cleveland was a great defensive team before Lebron picked up his defense last year.

Also, Cleveland has a lot of open-shot makers. The Clippers only have a couple. Many of those guys need the ball to be successful, and Blake Griffin's knee and impact are still TBD. People sometimes look at Cleveland as if those players are better with Lebron. They aren't. Collectively, they make a great unit, but individually, all of those guys had similar or better production on the teams that they came from. You'll always get 18 out of Mo, 12.5 out of Delonte, 15-18 out of Shaq, 12 out of Z, 19-22 from Jamison etc.

They have good players in Cleveland, man. They are all specialists of one or two skills, which fits around a guy like Lebron who does everything.

How is Lebron suffering endorsements-wise in Cleveland? He got a 90 million dollar shoe contract before he played a game in the NBA and can get money from any company he wants.

I do not think I can say the same about the Clippers. I cannot believe anyone is foolish enough to say that the Clippers have a better supporting cast.

Not only was Cleveland the perfect team to draft him but there's still conspiracy theorists that think the draft was fixed for him to go there. A kid coming out of high school is MUCH better staying in his home town, with his family. As big as he was in high school, he was untouchable before he played his first game. I don't care how good anyone else has been, NOBODY had that kind of support coming into the league out of high school. It's not just about basketball skills, it's about the maturity of an 18 year old kid being the spotlight and highest paid on a team of men much older. Read up on McGrady's early years, and he at least had his cousin with him. Kobe's lived around the world so he was a special case. The reason the NBA doesn't want HS kids anymore is more about off the court than on.

And the small market crap is just stuff the media wants to throw out to make fans believe the Knicks have a chance at him. LeBron's a star in China... he doesn't need NY. His jersey sales are fine, and the many, many other endorsement deals he gets have nothing to do with the Cavs. If anything, you may be able to argue that the Knicks would benefit more from having Lebron than the Cavs can, but he doesn't need any of them. The only thing he needs at this point is a ring, and the team that's literally built around him would get him that a lot quicker and easier than any other team that wants to throw a bunch of money at him.

You think the Cavs roster without Lebron can win 40 games seriously. They would be right where the clippers are between 25 to 30 wins. The Cavs roster as it now has no future potential whatsoever at least with the clippers they have a few young players to build around. Lebron's going make whatever supporting cast around him that much better because of the amount of attention he draws from the defense. If you take away Lebron from the cavs all those wide open shots the supporting cast gets will disappear in a heartbeat then who on that team gonna get the role players easy shots Mo Williams.
