Looking at those measurements is interesting. Some players are taller than their listed height, while others are shorter. Shaq is 7'1 in socks but he's listed at 7'1 anyway. Dwyane Wade is listed at 6'4 when he's actually closer to 6'5 in shoes. Kirk Hinrich and Derrick Rose are both listed at 6'3, but Hinrich is closer to 6'4 while Derrick Rose is a tad under 6'3 in shoes.

Another thing...I went to college with Dee Brown, and he's listed at 6' in shoes and 5'11 without shoes. I've seen Dee a bunch of times and even hooped with him a few times. I'm 5'9, and he's no where near 3 inches taller than me...more like 1.5 inches.

Same.

Although he may not be as explosive, kid has tremendous handles, vision, footwork, high bball IQ and can use his strength/build to get the rim.

SC has a j and a good outside shot, although that may not be reflected from his senior season stats.

And dude plays some of the toughest D I've seen with that frame.

And yeah, 217 with a 10% bf...yikes. But it's an improvement from just a few months ago when dude was still rockin' his baby phat.

Pretty crazy that Greg Monroe is 6'11 247 with 11.2% body fat.

Yeah what the heck is that? That's the biggest thing that caught my eye.

Especially with SODs these days, you can't hide chubbiness at the college level.

Going back a page or two to the Arenas discussion, did anything ever come of the talk that his suspension was grounds to void his contract? Is that still hanging in the balance or is Arenas in the clear?

At this point I'm pretty sure we're past the voiding the contract thing. He'll be a Wizard unless we find a trade partner or we change team names.

I have been killing him but Patrick Patterson measured out pretty well at the combine (pause). 6'9 with shoes, 7'1 wingspan, 5.6% body fat.

I don't believe Patterson's height measurement for a second. DX is saying he's only an inch and a half shorter than Cousins in sneakers.

LOL. Yeah, I'm a little skeptical. I've read on numerous sites about Wall's 40+ vert (off 2 steps) but I can't find anyone else's. You have any luck ehh?

there is absolutely no way john wall jumps higher than derrick. That 40+ vert is complete bs. Wait untill the real numbers come out then we will really see
