Re: 2010 NBA Draft Thread.
But with this Summer being the end all and be all for free agency, it'll be that much more interesting to see which teams trade which assets to set up who they sign.
I feel that the first round is full of intriguing players, although light on the international prospects.
Also keep an eye on Utah, they have a lottery pick and also are trying to get another pick in the 20's.Comment

I have not heard any rumors of trades...Usually start popping up around these times.Comment

All I know is, if I'm a Sacramento fan, I want Cousins instead of Monroe.
Cousins/Landry/Omri/Garcia/Evans
Brockman/Thompson/Greene/Beno
They could damn well sneak into the playoffs.Comment

You guys have so much talent I wonder what route you'll go with in terms of the draft.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: 2010 NBA Draft Thread.
Cousins is a huge question mark in terms of personality, but not many teams in the lottery have that coach or player to keep him in check.
Nets, Wolves, Kings, Warriors.
One of those 4 will select him, and neither has a very strong presence in terms of a coach or a player.
Out of Cousins, Monroe and Favors, as a fan I'd want Cousins even with his question marks.Comment

New Rumor:
Raptors gave some sort of a verbal for Patrick Patterson.
Who does he compare to?
At this point, there's been so many names I don't know anymore who I want.
Paul George intrigues me the most though.Comment

Re: 2010 NBA Draft Thread.
He's extended his range and can finish at the rim. He's not a spectacular athlete but he is no slouch.
IMO he's like a poor man's Elton Brand. I don't think Patterson can create off the face up or rebound at the pace that Brand once did.
But Patterson deserves to be a lottery pick no doubt.
Paul George is an extreme question mark in my mind. I don't know how he'll fit in at the next level. Sort of how I viewed Austin Daye last year.Comment

Patrick Patterson doesn't have star potential, at least IMO but he seems to be a very level headed "veteran" type player.

Re: 2010 NBA Draft Thread.
General manager Kevin Pritchard has traded the No. 44 pick for the No. 34 pick of the NBA draft, starting what could be an active week.
Portland makes first move 3 days prior before draft swaping the 44th with the 34th with the GSW + money considerations...Let let be a start of something bigger...Please.Comment

Assuming Philly takes Turner, it'll come down to Favors, Johnson, and Cousins as to who we'll take #3 overall.#RespectTheCultureComment
