About the possible trade obviously...I know all of us Knicks fans can appreciate a little Eva sitting courtside (nom nom nom.) But if we have to move Gallo or Will The Thrill, I say pass.

Two statements in that article are completely inaccurate, 1) Parker never "lost" his starting job and 2) George Hill isn't going to be Tony's "replacement" (Hill averaged 0.8 assists per game during the post-season). Why would the Spurs trade away their only credible PG with no one to fill the void?

Knicks can't partner up for anything. They barely have any assets left except Curry's expiring, Galo, and Chandler. I doubt Pop is swinging a deal for a combination of that.

Tony Parker would like a trade to the Knicks, according to multiple sources that spoke with Newsday.

As the Knick front office monitors all of the latest chatter about LeBron James, the team is putting just as much emphasis on planning an alternative course of action in case James sign elsewhere.

Several sources tell Alan Hahn of Newsday that the Spurs are "clearly ready to consider moves" for Tony Parker.

The Knicks would prefer to work a deal for Parker before July 1 in order to bolster their free-agent chances, but David Lee may need to be part of a sign-and-trade offer.

If Parker can be acquired but James still slips from their grasp, the Knicks would go after a free-agent big man -- Amar'e Stoudemire, Chris Bosh or Carlos Boozer -- and, with any remaining cap room, look to sign Joe Johnson or Rudy Gay.

The team does not appear to have any intention of waiting another season to make dramatic improvements to the roster. With or without James on board, Donnie Walsh and his staff are preparing to enact an aggressive plan to build a contender this summer.

I'm glad to see this. While I would love to get LBJ, I don't want us to put all of our eggs in one basket. I do think that we have as good a chance as anyone with our front office and head coach to persuade 'Bron; but I'm glad to see that plan B would leave us with the possibility of contending now.

But if we pull a sign and trade with Lee to San Antone, do we even still want LeBron? (crazy to ask that, I know) But I think we could survive if we got a quality big (I'd prefer Amar'e over Boozer, and Bosh would probably be out of the question at that point) and get a Joe Johnson.

Wouldn't exactly be a bad team if Donnie can make it work. My first choice is still LeBron and Bosh, but option #2 isn't all that bad either.

I can't see either Amare or JJ wanting to deal with the insane NY media. I don't think either will end up a Knick.

I can agree a little bit about JJ shying away from the NY media, but if we have Parker and D'Antoni--I can see Amar'e wanting to reunite with his old coach and have a more than capable PG to run those pick and rolls with.
