Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread

I hear what your saying about Durant. I guess i'm not a die hard fan to be blunt. I really only care about my team and don't put much stock into what everyone else is doing, I guess. I don't really care enough about them that much. I haver never met any of these rich, famous, nba basketball players but I genuinely like Lebron. I put him above almost everybody. I guess it's cause I like his game, his approach and his demeanor, I could be wrong though

    Thats just my honest opinion.

The Heat would just be a big head scratcher for me....Bosh and Wade would have to feel disrespected IMO...LeBron is above them so he has to go on ESPN and wait an extra 30 hours so he gets full attention?

There were rumors of LeBrons people leaking the Wade/Bosh story and them not being happy about it...because he wanted Thursday night to himself.

I will say though....LBJ/Wade/Bosh would be fun to watch for me. And I don't think it would make the Heat the best team in the league automatically.

Part of me wants LeBron to go to the Heat so he gives himself the chance to fail miserably with all the expectations

Right now I don't believe for one second he would go to Miami. IMO that would be horrible for the NBA to have Lebron James and D Wade on the same team. I look at both of them as mega stars. Thats like havin Chris Johnson and Adrian Peterson On the same team. That would suck!

Smokescreen. Still don't believe he will let it release this early.

Chris Broussard of ESPN is reporting that all indications are pointing to Lebron signing with the Heat! Another rumor??

I agree with you, if we are going to make comments that this whole one hour special thing is a real ego booster for Lebron. I don't see how going to Dwayne Wade's team helps his ego/legacy.

I just can't buy into the LBJ to Miami stuff.

No way is he going to accept not being 'The Man' and have every championship with an asterix saying *had to ride D-Wade*.

He's more competitive than that, surely?

And Miami is a tiny market. Six months after they won the ring last time they couldn't even sell out games. No one really cares.

                  I just don't buy it.

If he goes to the Heat, he's gonna get none of the glory and all of the hate. That'll be enjoyable for me, even though I hope he stays in Cleveland. Seriously though, nobody will care about any ring that he wins in Miami except for the few Heat fans out there, but EVERYBODY will care each season that they don't win the championship.

If he goes to the Heat, the three of them will be the most hated three players in the NBA... and rightfully so. It's like, well we all took pay cuts just to make this "Dream Team." Congratulations?

I'm not complaining because it's the Heat. I'd be doing the same if it was the Bulls. Sure I want the Bulls to win but more importantly I want a great basketball product. This is not it no matter what way you look at it. I want these guy to compete against each other, not join up in some pay cutting way.

I pray this doesn't happen. As a Bulls fan my hate for the Knicks runs deep... however, I'd rather have LBJ go to the Knicks a millions times out of a millions times then this happen.

I think all this talk about LeBron winning a ring with Wade some how diminishes it is just absurd.

Lebron is my favorite player and if he goes to miami then I wouldn't know what to think about him honestly. If he leaves the cavs(which I hopes he doesnt) why go to miami?? u have a better chance of winning in chicago.miami would basically have the big 3 and a bunch of no names.

Another thing is why would 2 of the top 3 playes in the League join forces....it just kills competition to me...Mj took pride in stopping barkley, ewing, malone an the other great players from getting rings. if lebron wants to go down as one of the top 10 or 5, maybe the g.o.a.t he SHOULD NOT go to miami.

I completely agree with you and I mean no disrespect to any Heat fans on here but New York is clearly the better basketball town. I enjoy seeing great players play in towns that love that sport. Since I will watch the NBA regardless, I enjoy it more when a team like Portland, New York, Golden State, etc are good because of the crowd and their passion.

I'm a Heat fan and I don't really want him to be here. I'll admit the idea of him coming here is exciting and awesome but as a fan I'm not thrilled with the possibility. I hate Lebron, he's probably my least favorite guy in the league and this whole free agent fiasco has only made me dislike him even more. I'd rather see him in New York because him in that system with Amar'e would be incredibly fun to watch.

If Lebron comes to Miami I hope he understands and knows that Miami is Wade's town and nothing Lebron does could possibly change that.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

Scanning the hard core basketball sites across the net right now.......and 95% of posts are either dissapointed or disgusted at the thought of Miami getting LBJ.

                                And these are basketball people.

Just a bad, bad look for the NBA if it's true. Three spoilt prima donas showboating and laughing in everyone elses faces as they win over and over again...for a team few care about.

I just don't see it happening. This would be like Michael Jordan in his prime walking out on The Bulls and asking Magic Johnson to carry him.

That would have killed MJ's legacy. This would kille LeBron's in the eyes of most basketball fans.

It would be freaking HUGE in China though...those three would be on TV every day and no doubt sell a tonne of shoes and shirts. Maybe that's what LeBron wants anway?
