Re: LeBron James Signs With Miami Heat
Durant could have been a FA soon and had a choice to play with someone else, but he signed a 5 year extension, not a 3 yr extension like Lebron and Bosh did with the Cavs and Raptors. Signing that extension says a lot and it doesnt say that Durant wants that sort of opportunity to latch on somewhere else and play with one of those guys. He wants one of those guys to go to OKC to play with hm.
Anything you say about Durant went for those three as well. There was no media circus in 2006 and Lebron and Bosh both wanted to have their teams build around them. Lebron and Bosh also had significantly worse teams in 2006 than Durant had this past year.
Judging Durant by what he did in his third year to what the three Miami guys did in their 7th year is silly.
If in 5 years the Thunder have cap space and are a big man away from the chip and Dwight Howard is a free agent who wants to play for OKC, I can't see Durant turning him down.Comment

Re: LeBron James Signs With Miami Heat
why is the leader of the NWO comparing losing to the WTC being destroyed?
"We're going to be wearing a bullseye,'' Wade said. "But that's what you play for. If we lose a couple in a row this season, it will be like the World Trade (Center) is coming down again. When the schedule comes out, people will be looking for the Lakers and Heat, to see when they play us. I feel like I'm a new player in Miami. That's how excited I am.''
Wade just might have an inflated sense of how important basketball is...Comment
