It didn't matter if he was dancing around the court, not shaking hands after a playoff loss, getting bounced in the playoffs sooner than he should have, no matter what people still LOVED LeBron. Skip Bayless ripped on Bron for everything he did and you couldn't find ten people willing to support Bayless' critiques of James. LeBron's actions, his decisions have made people hate him and now he's making commericials and Twitter accounts and retweeting and doing things trying to act like the world just woke up one morning booing him for no reason. He seriously needs to just STFU about it and move on. Everyone wants fans to 'get over it' and move on with they're lives but the guy is keeping it going just as much as the fans if not more. This is like a guy robbing everybody in his neighborhood blind when they have him over visiting and then crying foul after they find out and won't let him near they're property again.

Not where I live because I heard so many Kobe fanboys looking for a reason to tear him down i became numb to it..

and regardless of last year im talking about right NOW. Again, he hasnt been as silly as some of the guys you would call superstars right now. I named a few but it doesnt matter... people look for that thing to do at the moment and run with it because they are bored to death.

No im not saying everyone is all about that, but there sure has been alot of it in this thread alone

Like I said, I dont remember so many folks getting this up in arms when the volume shooter was making commercials about how people hate him because of his first step and crap like that.

Oh and LOL@ Anybody using Skip Bayless as a means to justify a point

I do think thats the point of the commercial. Looks like theyre rather feeding off of the ongoing chatter because as much as alot of these folks say they hate him they sure cant stop paying attention to him

They got the message about the shoe out there didnt they?

Either way he needs to just STFU and play Basketball. That means stop with the Twitter nonsense, stop with the excessive use of the "Victim Card", just simply shut the **** up and play Basketball since that's really the best chance that he has at trying to keep the criticism down to a minimum.

Everyone wants to keep saying "Oh there go people again nitpicking at this whole thing again, blah, blah, blah". Well if he'd stop talking about it then people would start to move on like they were until this commercial came out. Just stop talking about it yourself and move on from it like he said he would.

LOL @ message about the shoe. I liked the commercial but I didn't see nothing in there that made me go, "Man those are some tight shoes" because I didn't see any Shoes.

He did what he did. Lets move on now. Let see if the move was worth it or a waste of time. And lets enjoy these guys while they are here.
All of this. ESPECIALLY the bolded part. We never appreciate how good we really have it as BASKETBALL fans right now. Instead of appreciating the players we're seeing today, we'd rather tear them down and pick apart every little thing wrong with them. I mean that's fine to a point, but other times it just gets excessive IMO.

Are you serious? Did you not see some of the threads or posts here the last 2-3 years about LeBron? People flipped about every little thing he did even when he was on the Cavs and not taking his talents to a pre-planned super team. The guy dances on the bench and people went bananas (not in a good way). There was a lot of LeBron hate well before any of this. Yes, there were LeBron worshipers and now you could probably count the amount of them on one hand but there were still a ton of detractors.

I dont think its effective. I think playing the victim and taking shots at Jordan and Barkley undermine any attempt to rehabilitate his image. Its somewhat amusing because of the pop culture references and the getups but in terms of the larger goal of rehabilitating his image, I think this gives the people who soured on him (the commercials intended audience) more reason to dislike him.

                          Time will tell though.

Its not negative energy just because you don't agree with it, that is very short sighted on your part. You take a very simple approach to the commercial others do not. I would venture to say that the people at Nike put whole lot of thought into what you call "just a commercial". C'mon, man.

Yeah, coward. I am not calling him a coward as a man, I am calling him a coward within the realm/world of competition. He ran from a challenge because he does not feel that his best chance at winning a ring can be done with him at the helm. He joined another captains ship. As far as competition goes that is cowardice, especially when you are supposed to be a so called king and or chosen one. Some of you lebron fans are hilarious.

I guess Kobe and KG were cowards when they wanted to change teams because they felt their teams were not good enough to win them a championship?
