Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
Assuming the Knicks sign Bosh, they won't have more cap than the Wizards or Nets this year, next year, or once they resign their rooks, the year after that.
If the Knicks sign Bosh, they won't have any salary cap advantage over the Wizards, Nets, or Heat.
Again, not that he's going to the Wizards or the Heat, but this guy's methodology is awful.
He seriously just added Bosh but forgot that Bosh will want to be paid money.Comment

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
My problem with the Forbes article is the suggestion that LeBron could buy enough shares of MSG to become a minority owner.
Now that is 100% legal. And that is a shrewd business move on his way to becoming a billionaire. Much props to him.
But I don't think it's good for the sport and as a fan, the Knicks. How would his ownership affect ticket prices when he is an owner himself? You know...okay the Dolans shell out x amount for a his contract and then MSG ticket prices coincidentally skyrocket?
Again...100% legal and an incredible investment move on his part.
I just don't like the collusion.Comment

LeBron Has Had Say In Cleveland's Trades
LeBron James has had a lot of power in Cleveland, according to ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher.
Sources told Bucher that James vetoed trades he didn't like for the Cavaliers, while pushing other deals through that he thought would help the team.
Any team that signs LeBron will likely have to set a basis for how much power he'll have in the front office.
Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf never gave that type of power to Michael Jordan, so it's doubtful he'd give it to James.
I just feel bad for Cleveland fans.
If he thinks that sort of behavior is going to happen elsewhere then New York and Chicago are off the list because there's no way either of those front offices are giving up power and rightfully so. I want LeBron the player, keep LeBron the GM aka Zeke Jr the hell away from the Knicks."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Yeah, vetoing is pretty crazy. LAC probably wouldn't have a problem with this. If anything, they would be for it. lolComment
