What if he wins the next three titles at wherever he ends up?

I also love that NYC has virtually no positive impact for the Knicks according to everyone outside of NY, but the Nets moving to Brooklyn is what'll get LBJ to be a Net.

        The Nets have talent.

Can't say the same for the Knicks.

In either case, He's probably not going to the Nets, and if he is really all about winning, he won't go to the Knicks.

IMO it's a two team list: Chicago and Cleveland. I'd assume it's probably 51-49 right now with the Cavaliers having a slight lead. It's all about if the Cavaliers can make a move this offseason. If they don't make a move, or at least don't make an impactful one, then I believe he is gone.

People REALLY need to chill w. the Jay-Z connection. A guy who owns less than 5% of the Nets is not going to have an affect on where LBJ goes.

If WWW and Warren Buffet don't have any influence on LeBron, there is no way Jay-Z does or will.

You know what both rosters are going to look like at the start of the 2014-15 season? That's pretty neat.

I don't understand, someone enlighten me please. Not being sarcastic, I want to know the rationale behind this.

Why would he want to go to a team that would take another 2-3 years to be championship contenders?

Because no matter where he goes he will not win a title next year unless Chicago can somehow swing a S&T for Bosh or he does the unthinkable (goes to the Clips or takes less $ and goes to Miami with Bosh & Wade).

Cleveland, Chicago, LA, NJ, NY are not title contenders if they add LeBron alone. The Clips might be they have a lot of youth and little post season experience, plus they've got to go through the Lakers. None of those other teams are good enough. And no, LBJ/Rose/Noah is not a championship team.

That could be every team. That's the thing. You don't know what's going to happen, and none of these rosters is so stacked that you can guarantee things one way or another.

If he goes to Jersey, between their draft pick(s) and spare cash they have left over, they could build a real squad around Bron, Harris, Lee(good roleplayer), CDR, Williams(potential) and Lopez. I mean seriously, that team could be WAY better than projected.

In Chicago, they could be a contender, but they could also be a solid 1nd round out, or they could be Cleveland part II, where they go up against a stacked team and don't have the scoring to compete. Also, Thibs could be a terrible coach. Not saying he will be, but it's possible. This is his first year, and that's an unpredictable prospect.

In New York, people are assuming that there simply won't be enough, but the fact of the matter is if he goes to NYC, he'll have the best #2 option he's ever had. New York's best two players will most likely be better than any other scenario. That goes a long way in this league. Also, New York has the best shooters out of those three teams. Again, that goes a long way. With a good defensive PG in Douglas, arguably the best 3pt threat(with Orlando-like size) in Galinari and an athletic(and tradeable) wing in Chandler, the Knicks could come along faster than people expect. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I believe D'Antoni will win at least 55 games if he gets Lebron and Bosh. They could also have a Celtics-like effect where having two great players makes their roleplayers more effective. Also, people overlook Curry's tradeable contract that can bring in depth.

So all three teams are in the same boat. They have enough pieces to be near immediate contenders(or one move away) OR they can wind up being another version of Cleveland, with a lot of regular season success, but ultimately no Finals appearances. The only thing that could change that is if Chicago somehow swindles their way into signing another free agent.

I've said all along that this is why Chicago makes absolutely no sense for him. In NY or NJ he gets an All-Star 20 & 10 big man. Pretty obvious that that's the Robin he needs to win titles..

                          Kobe-Pau
                          Kobe-Shaq
                          PP-Garnett
                          Duncan-Ginobilli/Parker
                          Wade-Shaq
                          Magic-Kareem
Bird-McHale/Parish (two HOF bigs are better than one lol)

This ain't rocket science, outside of MJ's Bulls and the Pistons every other championship team in history had a great big man. I think we all know that LBJ isn't MJ, no matter how much the media wants to push that.

He doesn't get that big Chicago. I love Rose's game but he's about as bad of a #2 as you can have for LBJ in terms of fit.

Dislimb in full ***** mode in this thread.

I'm still LOL'ing at whoever said the Clips are a title contender with LeBron. Come on. It's the Clippers, they have no coach and the worst owner in professional sports.

Plus, they have little talent outside of Gordon and Griffin, who has never played a single game in the NBA. Davis would be a disaster next to LeBron and Kaman is decent.

                                Title contenders though...come on, son.
