Please...Sterling not being there can only possibly help things. I feel the same way about Reinsdorf in Chicago, some people its just best if they don't show up.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

The LeBron James circus is getting old for some teams. Some are tired of waiting for James to make his decision and feel that by tomorrow, he should have his mind made up.

In a bold move, the Chicago Bulls are threatening to pull their offer off of the table if James doesn't make a decision by Saturday, sources close to the situation tell HOOPSWORLD.

Threatening to do something is different from actually doing it but the move shows that the Bulls are tired of playing the waiting game, especially as other prominent free agents come off of the board.

Between that posting and whats allegedly happening to Bosh maybe the owners aren't so stupid. This whole circus and tour is completely ludicrous. It's like the top free agents want to be rock stars or something. The Bulls making a threat to pull the offer just reeks of something that Jerry Krause would've done like 15-20 years ago, if thats true I could see Lebron just saying "F this" and moving on to a team that won't be playing hardball with him.

Kudos to the Bulls front office for putting their foot down. Nice to see someone try to remind these guys that it's not strictly a "player's league".

The only problem here is that the Bulls are now in serious danger of getting Carlos Boozer and some MLE player.

If they really expect LeBron to commit tomorrow, they are stupid and should not even bother to show up.

Especially if LeBron says, "I don't have to take this." and takes them off of his list of possible teams.

I dont know why they are tripping now. Wasnt this the plan for the LeBron camp from the beginning? They knew he would take his time making his decision and he should he hold all the cards. What the Bulls arent willing to do every team who can sign a max contract guy will. LBJ on the right team can mean 4 or 5 titles in the next 7 or 8 years. That IMO is worth waiting for.

Can't the Bulls still sign others while waiting on LeBron? I mean, you can't chew gum while you walk?

If the Bulls screw this up because they put their foot down, they are going to catch hell from the fans and the Chicago media.

LeBron did say he was going to make his decision on Monday, I think that's fair. So why can't the Bulls just wait 2 more days? He's got to give Cleveland their opportunity. Unless, the Bulls know that he might have his mind set to go back to the Cavs all this time and if he doesn't get wooed by Chicago the Cavs really don't have to do anything but have the contract ready to sign.

1 less team right? If the Hornets was in position to signed LBJ and they made that statement I would be pissed.

And what's even worst, giving Carlos Boozer and MAX deal.

I think all of this "we don't like your attitude so we're not giving you the max" is just manipulating.

On the flip side, these young men need to realize that these owners are RICH men. If you hold their pride hostage, they will not get punked or disrespected. Once you have a certain amount of money, it becomes more about power than dollar amount. Usually, dollar amounts=power, but sometimes guys will just hit you with their wallet when you try to make a power play.

I don't know what players you are referring to when you're saying they can go out and sign others. I'm not poking fun, who else do they want or would they sign in the mean time?

Well, their plan was to get a quality player to commit before they sign LeBron so LeBron would know that they are serious about making it into a championship team.

I thought the plan was to try and get Bosh to commit and then get LeBron. Now they're changing the plan? Don't understand that move

As of right now, the Bulls would have to sign and trade anyone they get. They don't have enough for two max deals. Sad thing is, a S&T for Boozer makes sense, because Utah could really use Deng, but I don't think Lebron will play with Booz on an NBA team after he dipped out on a blind man, and broke a promise to a young King that really needed him.

From a certain perspective, Boozer is to blame for Lebron not having a ring.

Well I think that's the problem and what's killing Chicago - Bosh can't just commit due to his S&T request and that the Bulls do not have two max slots. Things have to be worked out with Chicago and Toronto.
