Lebron's 1 hour special is the first time any of the players have actually embraced any of the hype this summer.

I mean, Bosh and Wade can't really help it if people run up and start clicking pictures of them when they're at the mall or dinner. If there was the internet like there is today and 100 different sports news channels, Jordan would have had the same ****.

Just look at Amare's first weekend in New York...

Broadway play, dinner in the city, Yankee game, party at Dolan's estate in the Hamptons. There's a reason so many wealthy heads live in NYC, if you have money it's the ****. I would never live there if I made $50k a year, but if you got that $ then it's out of this world.

Yes but why do you have to play in NY to live in NY?

I don't think LeBron would have a problem having a house in NY and playing in Cleveland. Just like he would not have a problem having a house in NY and playing in Chicago. Or New Jersey. or New York.

It doesn't matter how "great" your city is. LeBron will have a house in NY no matter where he goes.

All this free Agency hype for only two player(Amare & Bosh) to change teams! Lebron is staying in Cleveland and will regret his decision cause the Cavs will prolly be the 3 best team in the East with the current team he has around him. Who is Lebron really doing this for himself or the state of Ohio?

LeBron's announcement tomorrow night will not be in Ohio.....or any other state where there's a team that's interested in him resides. So where? And why? And has he gone off the deep end? This Windhorst dude seems frazzled by the whole thing.

OSU, bosh said he would have played with lebron in any other city except cleveland. i would say that's an indictment.

Cleveland will also have a new coach and a new GM next season. Perhaps it isn't just "the city". One can find culture anywhere if you look.

Of course it's not.

It doesn't have the nightlife that Chicago and New York and Miami has.

I don't understand what this has to do with a basketball decision though. Other than the fact that people like to make fun of Cleveland.

Basketball/business/lifestyle... it seems that Chicago/Miami/NY are all better decisions. Not to hate on the humble town of Cleveland, but that's just the way it looks from a person uninvolved with any of those teams

Because this is no longer a basketball decision. If it was a basketball decision it would be over by now and we wouldn't have to watch an hour long special to find out what that decision was. There is so much more going into his choice than basketball, that much is obvious.
