Everyone has a right to play with whatever team they choose. I have no knock on that at all. However when you parade teams around and pretend you are interested and then make a mockery of them on national tv. The owners and commissioner will always protect their investments. Remember they don't get paid if the owners lock them out.

They have no one to support this group of players. This is a horrible decision. That point.

He will not win a championship anytime soon. I really wasn't saying that to you, just that you made my point for me. The Heat have NOBODY else except these three. They have no chance in hell of winning a NBA championship anytime soon.

If you couldn't name people off of their roster now, how is it going to look when they bring in the cheap nobodies?

Go ahead, when you see the next three years of Kobe winning another one, the Celtics taking one and then probably OKC or the Magic winning.

Well, you'll look back and say, "That Damn Darkeus was a genuis!"

Miller joining Los Angeles would be just as ridiculous as Miller joining Miami.

I hope every player colludes and decides not to go to Miami.

                      Lebron pimped the NBA.....

That is really where all this hate is coming from. If he kept it private and all that, people would have been cool with it. But all that pimping teams to come to you and shake their arse for you and then tell the city you played for for 7 years, I am out on national tv rubs a lot of people the wrong way.

I just lost respect for Cleveland fans tonight...It's really too bad everyone in that town is going nuts (to be expected)

I never really liked ESPN either...Ever since pre-draft they said Lamarcus would be traded instead of Zach Randolph.

I don't think there's any other way you can slice it. LeBron leaving Cleveland is just a bad sports story.

Think of Michael Jordan being from Chicago and leaving the Bulls in 91 or so. I think it's kind of like that. You have this city that's been the brunt of jokes, heartbreak, etc. It had arguably the No. 1 player in the sport, and not just that but the player was a hometown talent.

                          Then he leaves.

I don't think any other story of an athlete leaving a franchise is worse than this one.

Yes, I'm a Cleveland fan, but it gives me some perspective. I'm not really mad at LeBron. I'm mad at his decision, but I'll keep his jersey that I bought in 2005. I'll keep it because I'll cherish the seven years I got to watch him -- years I said having LeBron James in Cleveland makes all the past Cleveland sports heartbreaks worthwhile.

It felt like karma to finally have a sports savior like LeBron James in town. Now it feels like "wow, there's no hope. If even the hometown guy isn't staying where's the hope?"

Sadly I think the Knicks are about to thrown a ton of cabbage at Miller.

True, true. Man, if the ring count was big as the ego, it'd be great. But it was just all about LBJ, starring LBJ tonight. And the ring count? zero......
