I just don't understand why he didn't go to NYC. I'm a Nets fan so I don't really care, but he could've been KING of that town. I think 10 years from now, if he doesn't win a championship he's gonna REALLY regret passing up the chance to playing NYC. I'm just sayin'...

Sorry man, I didnt say that at all.. that wasnt my point though.

The regular season means squat once your're on the court in the playoffs.

60 wins dont guarantee you a championship

The flow is perfectly fine, everyone is settling in with plenty of time before training camp.

Saying they were holding up everything is a load of garbage.

I guess thats why trades started going down immediately afterwards, and why teams had contingency plans "in case"

I dont think anyone is regretting passing up playing in NY right now. They just about havent had anything going for them since Ewing left

bottom line and this is my opinion he took the Coward way out. Jordan,Kobe, bird,Magic ect... earned there rings they didnt go join there Rivals to win one.
It's tough to compare to the 80's and 90's b/c that was a totally different generation, but I respect your opinion.

I think that the easy thing for him to do would have been to stay in Cleveland, and make everyone else happy. According to the poll here that's what the majority of us thought he would do anyway.

I think it takes a lot of courage to actually leave your home state like that, knowing the backlash that would come from that decision. That's the only state he's ever lived in, how could he possibly ever go back there? He can't, he'd never hear the end of it.

My heart goes out to the city of Cleveland, because that franchise will suffer, and that city will lose a lot of money. Businesses there will lose a lot of money. The Cavs franchise will now be set back for at least another 10 years imo.

Here's my prediction: Christmas Day on ABC, Miami @ Cleveland

Im not putting blame on his teammates for the post season. Thats reserved for a guy on the west coast....

If you asked me he quit just like kobe quit on LA in that game 7. Matter of fact they all did.. especially after looking at that clip of Mo Williams waiving the coach off and telling the team to stand down and they did just that.

You weren't the only one who hated this garbage. The last few weeks is the closest I'll ever come to completely giving up on the NBA. If Wade had left Miami I probably would've fully devoted my fandom to Euroleague.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

Yeah I don't understand that either. I would have sworn that he would go to NYC considering Nike is on his back. Does the nba really want three superstars together, let alone to play in Miami? Geesh, that city doesn't have the most sports fans. I would have guessed NYC or Chicago. But New York would have been put back into the basketball image with Lebron and Amare. That city has been pretty dead from basketball besides from the ncaa events.

Booed off the floor? I was at all the cavs playoff games this year, if we chanted MVP, or other Lebroon chants any louder, we would all be deaf. You watch to much local TV man, or listen to bad info. There was one time I saw lebron get maybe slightly booed, and it wasnt that bad considering it was one of the worst performances out of a star I have ever witnessed. Im not even sure the booes were for Lebron, but the cavs team as a whole.

You think its all going to be roses in Miami? Just wait.

You are crazy if you think he didnt kill his Legacy tonight. Whose going to retire his jursey? Whose going to remember what he accomplished? Hes basically starting from scratch going into his 8th year, to attempt to get to the finals, which he has already done in Cleveland. He cant even realistically believe hes going to win a championship, when he has no idea who else besides wade and bosch is on his team yet.

Im going to laugh hard if wade gets injured, and its just Lebron, bosch, and some rookies, and league minimums. Lebron could still come out of this looking really silly. We will see.

Cleveland was 1 all star away from a championship. They werent that bad. They had good players, just not another star. If oneil was in his prime, him and Lebron would have made things interesting for sure.

LBJ shot 31% and averaged around 6 turnovers per game the last three games against Boston. It seemed like Mo Williams had more hunger that last game than LBJ.

I'll say this, Jamison failed big time in that series.
