His Twitter better get more interesting than it is. Screw the decision, this is what I'm REALLY angry about!!! Bosh needs to give him lessons.

Re: LeBron James Signs With Miami Heat

I am still shocked. Sorry for you Cavs fans...got to say though that a lot of us neutrals could see how 'classless' this guy is a long time ago. I remember tonnes of you rushing here to defend him after so many incidents where it was clear the man has zero class..."but Bron's the man"....the homage was kind of sad to see. Now he's done a giant dump on you all.......no one wins. Sad to see.

Still amazed he went to a tiny market.......Wade stayed there to chase women rather than be near his kids (to me, that's stunning) and Bosh is just going to ride them both. It's sad to see the NBA reduced to this. "The King" is going to ride them both. Amazing.

At least it kills the whole "Stern rigs the NBA" crap people who spat out for years. Miami dominating is pretty much a worse case scenatio for the NBA. A market where no one cares potentially dominating to a point where a dozen other fan bases feel alienated enough to give up.

This has probably been already brought up in this 500 page madness, but I'm more worried about the city of Cleveland from an economic standpoint.

I worry for the owners of all those bars, pubs and restaurants who may be forced to go out of business or at least suffer significant losses in profits now.

Just a ****** situation for that city.

Really sorry for you Cavs fans.
Lebron may always be a great basketball player. but as a person.......

He has gone from a hometown hero to villian in one narcisstic televised swoop.

He talks about winning. WTF. the cavs led the league 2yrs running, always listed as a legit contender. they stumble in the playoffs, but lebron is as much to blame as anyone on the roster. probably more so for his inability to carry his team when it truly matters.

I got 0 respect for him now. what a dick.

Re: LeBron James Signs With Miami Heat

Who I really feel sorry for in all this? Minnesota. If you think Brett Favre is going to allow LeBron James to sully his good name as the biggest ego tripping, attention whoring douche in sports you have another thing coming. If I'm in Minnesota, I'm on pins and needles, sweating and biting my nails on what level of ego tripping he pulls out to top this now that the sports stage is all his for the taking again.

As for the arguments on why this is a big deal and people hating LeBron, the problem here is the way all of this was handled and basically playing people for fools. He says he made the decision this morning, but if you just look at Wade and Bosh's interview with Wilbon and that BS, goofy *** acting job of Bosh's when he gave the thumbs up wishing LeBron luck on his decision, it should have been clear what was coming, they knew then, they knew because this has been the plan since the Olympics.

The hate comes because everyone was made fools of, because everyone believed that what they were seeing was legit. It's like when you've been watching baseball most your life and supporting guys and then find out that your favorite players were using roids the whole time. It was basically a fabrication. Like for example, Wade let it out that the Bulls blew they're shot at him in the second meeting Friday because they wouldn't cancel they're pitch the following day with LeBron. If he committed to the Bulls in that meeting obviously they would have backed off the LeBron pursuit, but he wasn't willing to committ cause "he didn't feel the love" from them? Bron gives this BS line about the league needing to retire Jordan's number league wide as a reason why he's switching to 6, the tank job, Bosh refusing to go to Cleveland. The problem isn't so much that they're all going to Miami (though make no mistake it is a problem that two of the top 3 players in the league along with a top 10-12 guy is going to be on one team) but the way this all went down. It's just not how the game is supposed to be. It's one thing when something like this happens through trades, but thru FA? Not cool at all.

Re: LeBron James Signs With Miami Heat

I think the people saying "this move is fine" are younger fans...maybe teenagers who really don't know what has made the NBA.

Older fans (and Cavs fans) are the ones who are angry.

                        Michael Jordan was the Bulls.

Stockton and Malone were the Jazz.

                        Gary Payton was The Sonics.

                        Dream was the Rockets.

                        Ewing was the Knicks

                        KG was the T-Wolves

                        Reggie was the Pacers

Yes...some of those guys joined other teams and yes, some "chased rings"...but man, they ALL battled into their 30s and fought until they had little left before chasing rings / moving.

LeBron was The Cavs.............and the dude has bailed out at age 25.

If he'd done this at 30, okay.

Now though...at 25... just screams "defeatist / gutless / scared".

Imagine Michael Jordan bailing on the Bulls after the Pistons knocked out the Bulls........people forget how battered and down he was. But the man stayed and they won when he was 28.

Imagine if MJ bailed at 25 and went to play with Magic in LA? Or went to Boston to play with Larry?

This just screams "I couldn't carry a team......I'm giving up".

                        At age 25.

Almost unbelievable and sad to see in a lot of ways.

Where has the nature of good competition been gone?

I miss old days, where ''true'' superstars go coast to coast!!!

That move is just showing that Lebron has all those muscles for a big nothing!

You're 25 and you escape from the challenge.

I feel very sorry for NBA.

I think it took a ton of guts for LeBron to admit what I had long suspected, that he KNOWS he isn't winning rings as the alpha dog. The media never wanted to accept this though, as obvious as it was (at least to me). Now that he has D-Wade to handle the crunch time role and Bosh to get cheap buckets and boards, LeBron will get his elusive first ring, but not this year. The Lakers are winning again next year and Phil rides off into the sunset with his 4th 3-peat. Then the "South Beach Slammer" will get his ring. This could end badly though as those 3 egos will be hard to contain in one locker room. Keep LeBron's name out of the same sentence as Kobe and MJ after he pulls this Mailman and Glove in 04 move at the age of 25.
"In the morning he would read the Bible with another coach. Then, in the afternoon, he would go out and cheat kids who had probably saved up money from mowing lawns to buy those raffle tickets. That's Jim Tressel."

Lebron should've made this announcement with wade and bosh as a threesome. Why have a drawn out hour long show? He upstaged Wade and Bosh with a mentality of "you guys are pretty good, but here I come to save the day".
