You can't be serious! LOLOL.... I will just say this, Lebron has performed well in the clutch, in the playoofs at that. You don't remember detroit-washington and orlando. He avg. about 38-8-8 against the magic and hit big shots that whole series. He simply couldn't do anymore. And remember this. For all the clutch shots Kobe made he darn sure did miss a helluva lot.

I guess Jordan was scared win he passed the ball to BJ armstrong or steve kerr or paxson. You make the right basketball play. If being able to hit a buzzer beater is what makes you the better player I guess Melo is better than everyone in the league, cause his percentage is really high at the end of games. You no what? How about doing your best to avoid having to hit a last second shot to win anyways. Didn't Jordan win more when he started trusting his teammates? When he got better ones..LOL, besides they were knock down shooters from behind the arc. Kobe hits more buzzer beaters than Lebron but Lebron avg more points and assists after the 5 min. mark in the 4th quarter. Buzzer Beat that.LOLOL

And no matter what team Lebron go to he will be the best player on that team imo. So it may be Wades team but it will be the HEAT championship with Lebron as their best player.

And as Jeebs said "At the End OF The Day, Two Points Is Two Points".

He was also "awesome" this year against the Celtics and in 07 against the Spurs too, right? He is a frontrunner, flat out. When the chips are down we see what he does, he pulls a game 5. It's saying something when you perform so badly that "game 5" is used as a verb now. There is no question his stats are godly and he is supremely athletic. The main things I knock him for are his attitude ( the scripted dances and such before and DURING games got old really fast, weird that we didn't see that stuff in the Boston series" and his lack of competitiveness/killer instinct. He was NEVER meant to lead a team, which he proved for 7 years and with "taking his talents to South Beach" it can't be argued by his former "witnesses". At the ripe old age of 25 LeBron sunk to coattail riding status. I always knew he was soft, but this is even more than I thought.

I'm not a LeBron *****, I just call it how I see it. I knew about him before 99% of the people did. I watched a ton of his highschool games. I went to the Mcdonald's game in Cleveland in 03. I went to the game in Columbus the year they played Brookhaven and watched Drew Lavender (who originally went to Oklahoma with teammate Brandon Foust) miss 2 free throws with only a few seconds on the clock to cost them the win. I liked him alot. I told all my friends how good he would be. But the hype he got when he turned pro was absurd. They way people gush about him is unreal. Yes he puts up great stats. He also dominates the ball and gets more calls than any player I have ever watched, including Jordan. In the end, just because I don't buy into the same hype that you and many others do, doesn't make me a *****.

LeBron James includes Cleveland fans in Thank-You ( gets cheers at Akron)

AKRON, Ohio -- LeBron James finally thanked the fans in Cleveland on Saturday, when he made his first public appearance since he left the Cavaliers for the Miami Heat.

At his annual "King for Kids" charity bike-a-thon in downtown Akron, James addressed a friendly crowd of several hundred people who cheered as he took the podium.

"To the city of Cleveland, my fans in Cleveland, my fans in northeast Ohio," said James, "I want to say thank you for the last seven years and the years that continue to go in the future."

Then he repeated the thank you to Cleveland a second time, as if for extra emphasis.

"So I want to thank the city of Cleveland, also northeast Ohio, for all the great years that I've had," he said.

Last week, James came under fire for taking out a full-page newspaper ad in the Akron Beacon Journal in which he thanked the city of Akron for its support. The ad contained no mention of Cleveland, where James got his start in the NBA.

Emotions are still running high among Cleveland fans who felt betrayed by James, who was revered in that city for years.

After James left for Miami to join Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, Cavs owner Dan Gilbert sent off a scathing letter to Cleveland fans vowing to win a title before James does.

But in Akron, at least, James is still very much loved by the people who watched him grow up. After giving his brief speech -- and without answering any questions from the media -- James hopped on a bicycle and joined about 400 children who received free bicycles along the one-mile course.

Wearing a red shirt with the word "Akron" printed on it, James also thanked that city and its mayor for extending open arms to the player and his family. He said this is the most precious day of the year for him.

"Because I'm able to give back to the city that I grew up in, the city that I love," James said to cheers. "And the city that I will always give back to."

Most fans were pleased to see him, and didn't understand the vitriol that has been directed at James from the rest of northeast Ohio since he left.

"This is his home. He's been very supportive of us in the past," said Tony Morganti, a Cavs fan from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. "He said he's going to continue to be so, and I think this just proves it."

There was some concern that the charitable event would be marred by angry Cavs' fans, but fortunately those fears were unfounded. Attendence at the event was down, however.

Yeah, I seriously doubt it. LeBron didn't exactly advertise this event to NE Ohio.

And there are people in Akron that will be LeBron fans no matter what. I'd imagine that the 4,000 are not Cavaliers fans. The first game IN CLEVELAND will still be horrible.

As for him saying thank you, LeBron can go **** himself. That's how I feel. Stop trying to apologize, if he would have left in a classy manner, then I'd feel different. He knows what he did and he's trying so hard to do damage control. I'd feel a lot better if he never said anything about Cleveland ever again.

the only bad thing i see Lebron did to leaving the Cavs was the T.V show.... other then that it was his right to choose where he wants to go..... just like how owners cut and trade people whenever they dont want there salary or they dont play well.

I agree with you btw, LeBron has not proven himself as far as being a champion in the league as of yet. That may change with him joining forces with Wade & Bosh though. Who knows, we will see.

He will get a ring or 3 in Miami, but not this year. Kobe and crew have 1-2 more in them. After Kobe starts to decline the Heat will just destroy everyone. Unless the Knicks can really get a combination of Paul/Melo/Parker like rumored or if OKC can add 1 more piece. It just sucks that this happened because I would have bet anything OKC would be a dynasty in 3 years.
