I think the Miller injury has had a bigger impact than a lot of people expected.

I know I'm probably late to the party but...

what the did Lebron James do to deserve a nomination for Time's People of the Year category?

Make an entire city (and a larger part of basketball fans in the country) hate him? Quit on his team in Game 5 of a playoff series?

What am I missing here? Did he save a bunch of kittens from a tree, or is he donating half of that contract to the needy or what?

Yeah...questionable isn't a good enough word to describe that.

Well, Time's People of the Year award has been given to such upstanding people as Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Ayatollah Khomeini, so it's not like you have to be a good person to get the award.

It all goes back to the NBA and the media desire to push Lebron as the face of the league. I wonder why this guy acts like he does?
"In the morning he would read the Bible with another coach. Then, in the afternoon, he would go out and cheat kids who had probably saved up money from mowing lawns to buy those raffle tickets. That's Jim Tressel."

Heat going to the Mein Conference Finals. Where, like Hitler, Lebron will not advance past the Eastern front.

I honestly can't believe it took 768 pages before someone went to the Hitler well. This has to be an internet record.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

I love The C's posts, he brings a certain edge of comedy to his posts that just have me laughing my arse off every time.

He knows how to word things that keep them hilarious yet not go overboard. (to me anyways)

i still think the Heat will be great by the end of the year but its just so disappointing to watch Lebron sacrifice so much. People dont realize how much the guy has sacrificed. Aside from the money, he's sacrificed being the #1, and pretty much has sacrificed his legacy because his numbers are gonna drop big time. Its just weird watching him not be as involved the whole game because he's the best player in the NBA but will step aside to let Wade do his thing when he gets it going.

Plus i dont think the people of Miami are deserving of this team. Its ridiculous that they have to hand out flyers begging fans to show up to the games and cheer and show up on time. Its a joke that the arena is half empty until the 2nd quarter and then everyone is gone by the time the 4th quarter starts.

That's the point, that's why LeBron went to the Heat. He didn't want to be the #1 anymore, he didn't want to be the guy that was ridden every night to win a game.

Right or wrong, LeBron was tired of being "the guy".
