The video you linked shows the statue of liberty style which doesnt require a palm necessarily, as you can see the ball is slipping out of his hand a little.

MJ, Dr J, Vince Carter can make the ball an extension of their hand in any situation, which is a true ability to palm the ball. LeBron cannot do this. Or I have not seen it.
LOL alright man. Now you are trying to sperate it into different degrees of palming a basketball. This whole twist in your argument now is just as silly if not more than before because the vast majority of the time when a guy drives for a dunk he already has the ball palmed or in both hands before he even leaves the ground. I could see if you are seperating those guys(don't see how you still have yet to mention Clyde Drexler) ability from the rest of the pack because of thier outrageously large hands and ability but to say they are the only guys who can palm a ball in the air is pretty absurd.

As far as LeBron goes I don't know what else you need to see. The ball palmed the ball off the dribble, extended it, maintained it through the air and through contact and finished the play. I don't know what else you want to see. Well how bout this on Okafor then. He goes up with two hands, gets hit, switches to a one hand palm in the air, and then dunks. Does this work for you??

      This is super awesome.

Just when I thought every LeBron argument had been recycled and this thread was on constant repeat for the last 3 months or so, we've suddenly found a new argument about whether or not LeBron can palm the ball.

      Win!

The next argument will be over whether LeBron can tie his shoes. I've never seen him do it, so I'm guessing a trainer does it for him.

Back in Cleveland, he got Mo Williams to do it for him. True story.

Is this serious? Are the Heat a grade school rec league team?

Reward System At Heart Of Miami's Winning Streak

A simple reward system has contributed to Miami's current eight-game winning streak.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra set parameters that reward his superstars with offensive freedom when they excel on the defensive end.

If Dwyane Wade grabs a defensive rebound, he has the green light to do whatever he wants offensively. If LeBron James makes a defensive stop, he controls his own game on the other end of the court.

"Our job is to defend and then we get rewarded with what we want to do on offense," James said.

9 in a row. I don't care if Spoelstra takes them out for pizza or ice cream after games as long as they keep winning. If thats what it takes to keep the wins coming then by all means Spo reward them.
