Good one Bron. Yeah, we deserve that kick, lol.

The entire situation is surreal. The worse he acts, the more love he gets. You would have thought some of these folks would have given him a medal for dancing, not shaking hands or talking in 3rd person all these years...funny how things change. Being a fun douchbag = suck. Being a malicious douchbag = cool.

Backlash to the backlash is a gift that keeps on giving, SMH.

To the guys talking about 'rivalries' and how this is good for things....you guys are missing the point.

LBJ v Cleveland isn't a rivalry...the Cavs are irrelevant (sadly) and will be for years. They are a very, very poor team. His leaving has basically left them as a carcass on the side of the road.

LBJ is off in the spotlight, playing by the beach with a superstar in Wade....

There's no need to dance on the Cavs grave.

A 'rivarly' is two legit powerhouses going to war...Detroit's Bad Boys v MJ's Bulls...or two tough as steel teams like Zo's Heat v Ewing and Oakley's Knicks.

A rivalry isn't one of the all time great players laughing at one of the all time bad teams. LeBron needs to shut up and move on.

Good post, Monk...but you're wrong. See, Gilberts letter justifies everything. EVERYTHING.

Hey there Mac...man I feel sorry for you die hard Cavs fans. Just a bad situation and I think it's going to take you a long, long time to turn this thing around.

A Miami championship is pretty much inevitable IMO within the next season or two...and once LA and Boston get too old (possibly very soon)............................................. ..........it could be years of watching LeBron dancing on tables holding up the trophy.

Pretty cool the way the Cavs arena has been full all season...those are some legit basketball fans you've got

This is basically all I'm saying but apparently if you like rivalries in the NBA you're a hypocrite for not jumping all over this happily and being accepting of what Bron's doing.

Honestly, I don't think there's ANY mongrel / toughness in these Cavs players...so you'll be dissapointed.

There's no Charles Oakley sitting there with these quotes posted all over his room and punching holes in the wall the night before they play.

If anything, these guys would be sitting there thinking "oh no...LBJ is going to be angry with us again...damm...hope we don't get too badly beat".

              Sad, but true.

If I was the Cavs GM right now I'd trade 90% of them and basically my only criteria in return would be "does the player coming in have heart / mongrel / aggression".

So for the fans who loyally supported him and trusted him when he said he was going to bring a title to Cleveland are now being subjected to karma because they called him a liar, which he is, and an *******, which he also is?

Nah. I think LeBron doesn't know what karma even means, so he just used it hilariously out of context.

Next thing you know, this moron will come out and say that he didn't know what karma meant.

It just crazy that every time big name athlete does something its talked about like the worst thing thats ever been done..or the first time its ever been done
Just to be clear, it's not a "Only LBJ" thing lol.

And I don't even think it's that but moreso the fact that he doesn't think before he says/does certain things.

I will ask this though: Why didn't he just mention his name in it? I mean it's not a big deal and I'm probably nitpicking this and I'm pretty sure he would've caught backlash for this regardless, but if you're gonna embrace the ***hole role, might as well go all out you know lol

Not going to college isn't a big deal. There are smart people without degrees.

LeBron never even had to learn in HS because he was babied from the time he started to shine on the court.

Seems like bad parenting/mentoring more than anything else.

You think he doesn't know people are going to automatically associate that comment with Cleveland fans and his former teammates? You think he doesn't know that when the sports networks pick up on it, they're not going to play it out as him directing that at Dan Gilbert? That's his bitchmade way of coming at all those people but leaving it vague enough that everybody that still supports him and all the LeBron Stans out there can say he wasn't going hard at Cleveland fans or if the backlash is too much for his highness to take he can say he was talking about something not even related to the Lakers beatdown of the Cavs. LeBron ain't stupid, just very cleverly bitchafied.
Like I said, dude ain't stupid, you think he don't know people are going to associate that **** to the other players and fans? He's supposed to be embracing the villain role not still trying to halfass talk **** and leave himself outs to come off like a good guy cause he's just **** talking Gilbert. Just put Gilbert's name on it and not give a damn who has a problem with you saying it. But nope, let's make a vague reference that I can spin to be about another situation entirely, or directed at just Dan if the backlash from this one is a little more than I want. That's my problem with the tweet. If he just flat out put Gilbert's name on it, then fine cause Gilbert deserves **** for that letter, but Cleveland and those players did nothing to LeBron but make a friggin deity out of him.

Didn't delete anything; all I did was add the last part of my statement to my post (re: why didn't he just say his name).

If Brett Favre tweeted that the year he was traded to the Jets from the Packers and the Pack struggled? Yes it would.

If TO tweeted that the year he left Philly and went to Dallas? Yes it would.

If Jason Kidd tweeted that the year he was traded back to Dallas: Yes it would.

If Shaq tweeted this the year he was traded to Miami: Yes it would.

I can go on and on and trust me...this isn't just a LBJ thing. It's a big name athlete thing lol
