That whole PC LeWade gave political answers to pretty much every question they were asked so why would Gloria James's son go out of his way to make comments on the people who don't like him?

Let's re look at the question:

The guy has been disliked every day of this past NBA season since his jersey was burned. He has been scrutinized atleast 10 times by every analyst and critic who can find an audience. He has also been loved by these very same people so the fickle nature of fanbases has been proven to him. So whether he liked or disliked is irrelevant to his on court play which was the context of the quote.

The rerporter asked a somewhat personal question, and LeBron chose to give him a legit answer. He could have just said, Haters gon' hate or something cliche of that nature and would have been a perfectly acceptable answer but he made the classic mistake of just over talking to be honest.

to me, his answer started out very innocent, and when i was watching i thought it was a good answer. but then he kept going with it and the more he talked the worse it sounded

i'm pretty indifferent to what he said though.

I dont hate Lebron at all, but with his comments, I can certainly see why people think he is a tool.

2004 Kobe was also pretty garbage too and was mentally checked out due to the beef with Shaq, but when you're on a very short list of this nature twice (LeBron), you got a situation.

I heard a rumor on the radio today that Miami is reporting that LeBron had a thing with Jordin Sparks before LeBron's girl hooked up with Rashard lol

It was pretty funny last night to see that Kobe and LeBron averaged 19 points in their first Final 9 games.

At this point I think most people expect Lebron to say something detrimental every time he speaks (rightfully so, for the most part. Still a bit baffled with the things he said in the post game last night)

Lebron being Lebron = Manny (Ramirez) being Manny?

                Hmmm...

I'm actually *getting a kick out of the whole Lebron thing. Even though the mavericks won, u guys still mention Lebron more and more. Right now his name is appearing in Espn, twitter, facebook, and sports radio more than any other name. He's prob laughing and sayin" you wonder why they call me king!!" " I'm getting more publicity than the team that won, and it's not costing me a dime. " that prob explained why he had the # 1 selling jersey *this year and has a billion dollar empire.... Just saying.
So just remember this , every time you tweet, post, or whatever , his pocketbook is getting bigger. So while you slum from 9- 5 , he's sipping a drink on the beach smiling and in a sublime kind of way thanking you.

And this is why I believe there is much more to life than money. If being hated by the world but having deep pockets is what makes LeBron happy, then so be it, but I would give up my money to be viewed as a good friend and a good person any day.

And for what it's worth, he doesn't have no billion dollar empire. That's his goal.

And wow, they just said on ESPN First Take that LeBron answers the phone seriously saying "Hello, King of the Phone speaking" when he's trying to recruit players to join his marketing team or whatever that thing with Maverick is.

So which Maverick killed his image more? Maverick Carter or the Dallas Mavericks for showing the world how mortal he is?

Yeah exactly. Little different when you average 19 and have Shaq on your team than averaging 19 and supposedly being the best player on the floor in the height of your career.
