I thought they were going be able to sign Camby, no idea why he chose the Knicks instead..

I think they should sign Oden.. Even if he isn't 100% for awhile it's gotta be better than using the money on Eddy Curry or Juwan Howard.. At least he is still super young and the potential is there, not to mention he is huge and has great hands.. If they could get 10 or so minutes a game from him that would be all they needed anyways, just enough to limit Joel Anthony and Rony Turiaf's playing time..

What if they could snatch Yao out of retirement kind of like the T-Wolves grabbed Roy? Pretty sure Yao could handle 8-10 minutes per game

Guys, I have something to say:

I don't hate LeBron anymore. Maybe it's because the guy got his title, maybe it's because he won a gold for the US, or maybe it's just because no matter how bad he did my city, I still cannot hate the guy. For all intents and purposes, the guy is actually good, he does good work with charities, he is a good father, and he hasn't been stupid and got lost in drugs and alcohol.

When I see his face, I used to think of him celebrating on that stage before playing a game, seeing his face during the decision. The way he handled himself after the decision caused me to hate him to, with that stupid commercial where he is asking "what should I do?" as a mea culpa to fans.

However, something changed with LeBron and my city after he won a title. I don't know if the realization that it was going to happen at some point, and the pressure that was lifted both off of his shoulders and the city when he did finally win...I don't know. I think in a lot of ways, I found it hard to hate the guy after he failed his first year there. I think had he won, my hate would have been going strong.

The sudden change in LeBron to reach back to the city of Cleveland and the passing without reconciliation with Art Modell also has somewhat changed. LeBron has been contacting local radio stations to do interviews that he never did when he was here. He's been seen multiple times in Dan Gilbert's Horseshoe Casino in downtown Cleveland. Supposedly he has been invited to practice and train with Cleveland Cavalier players. All of this is part of the healing process. Also, Rich Paul is a good guy and real does know how to reach people in Cleveland and LeBron.

Also the thought of not being able to have the city heal the wounds that LeBron created has become a thought on my mind after Modell passed. Modell, much like LeBron, did a lot for the NE Ohio community, yet one very wrong move put Modell on public enemy #1 list. People still talk about how they hate him, despite the fact that he was a major reason for creating what the Cleveland Clinic is today. I am starting to want to want to see LeBron in the area more. I'm an Akron alum, and he is a huge donator to my school and he has done a lot of good here. I think the time to heal is now.

I'd also be lying if I said that I think the time is coming where I have to make peace in seeing LeBron back in Cleveland at some point in his career. Also, I have made peace in retiring his jersey after he retires as well. I just found it too exhausting to hate the man anymore, it was really ruining basketball for me and I just don't have the fire to hate him anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to root for the Heat anytime soon, but I just can't find the passion to hate LeBron anymore.

He's a good guy who made a terrible decision. The fact that he realizes that and wants to make amends for it has changed my outlook on him and I'm ready to make my peace.
