I haven't heard it since the Finals so maybe that's why I thought it was done haha.

Yeah. That's why he has 3 MVPs, working on a 4th. You watch too much Skip Bayless apparently or pay too much attention to entertainment media.

We get he's a great player, we don't need a plethora of meaningless "youngest to" stats to beat it into our heads.

I would much prefer "span of time", or a sample size that levels the playing field for everyone on a list. Again, there's guys on there that played 200+ less games than LeBron did before they were 28. No question in my mind that he'd be 4th on that list, had the number of years played been the same.

I don't really think the list was designed to have a level playing field. I think it was just to show what players have accomplished by a certain age.

I'm curious to see how Lebron adjusts his game as he gets older. He's a freight train now but one can only wonder how much longer that is going to last. I think Lebron will be able to make it but it will definitely be something interesting to see as his career progresses.

It can be weird because in college sports, the tournaments or bowl games do count in career totals. Always throws me off.

Ever Wonder Who gets the Most POINTS in the NBA? By Points I mean Points that player scores and Points that come off the Player's assists. Combining Points + Points coming off Assists together. We call it PRF (Points Responsible For) Here are your leaders this season in order:

                  PRF Leaders:

                  1) LeBron James: 40.4
                  2) Kobe Bryant: 39.9
                  3) Russell Westbrook: 39
                  4) James Harden: 36.9
                  5) Jrue Holiday: 36.6
                  6) Kevin Durant: 36.5
                  7) Rajon Rondo: 36
                  8) Chris Paul: 35.3
                  9) Kyrie Irving: 34.3
                  10) Tony Parker: 33.9

                  No surprise there

I'm a LeBron fan. Look at the list. Harden, Westbrook, Kobe? These guys dominate the ball. So does LeBron. Hence Wade's absence from the list.

Melo to me is the type of black hole guy who chooses times when he absolutely will shoot the ball rather than just dominating the ball all of the time. Those other guys aren't black holes. They just need the ball to be successful.

True.: but any player near the top of the scoring needs the ball to be successful.. You can't score 25-30 PPG without having the ball more than other players do..

It's not as apparent now during the regular season, but last year in the playoffs LeBron made lots of plays without the ball. Screening, posting, baseline cuts. He wasn't making every play off-ball like a Reggie Miller type player. But he was making much more plays off the ball than KD or Kobe.

The sole reason LeBron leads that list is his court vision and ability to create plays.. Same reason most of those PGs are up there as well.

The reason Wade isn't on the list, other than his scoring being lower than normal, is that he dominates the ball too much. That's the same reason why Kobe isn't leading this list instead of LeBron as well.

Literally anytime a stat gets brought up about LeBron there's some excuse for it.

Like oj said, that list is mostly PGs, since it's scoring+assists, so it's impressive that LeBron is at the top. And since when do these guys need the ball to be successful? Kobe and Durant, the only pure scorers on that list, are the only ones who need the ball.

Most of the Heat's offense runs through getting the ball to LeBron in the post and him passing out of it.

These numbers aren't 100% accurate even because it's just counting assists, not 3 point assists, so with Miami being the 2nd best 3pt shooting team in the league, it's safe to say LeBron's number would be higher.
