Difference between then and now? About a day or two before the Decision, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade had already announced they were going to Miami and taking pictures with an empty chair waiting for LeBron to join them. That was after Stephen A Smith had broke what was going to happen five days prior because up until Bosh and Wade made it official, Miami was an afterthought to land Bron well behind Cleveland, Chicago and New York.

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Yes and maybe all the stuff we read about Lebron to cavs is 100% made up. I'am 50/50 on this now. Maybe I should tweet that.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
I honestly felt he was returning to Miami. We can compete for a title next year with the roster we have. Going forward/winning back some people/going home though seems to be what the media is concerned with reporting though..so who knows"To the last minute, to the last second, to the last man, we fight"Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
I was sure everything was set up between the big three when they started opting out but seeing how long it takes maybe not or Lebron changed his mind at some point. I don't know.Comment

I've never understood their brand of satire, nor have I ever found them funny.

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Latest rumor released this morning is that the meeting with Riley is going to be a "Goodbye" meeting.
Apparently his "inner circle" have told him that it would be in his best interest to return to Cleveland.
While we won't know for sure until it comes from LeBron mouth, I'm still expecting him to be a Cavalier within a couple of weeks, hopefully days. I've felt he'd leave Miami once his contract was up if Cleveland had a promising looking team and when healthy, they do.--

Re: The LeBron James Thread
I think its more to do with longevity than anything. Pretty much every core member of the team is 23 years old or younger. But Miami with Lebron next year is definetly better than the Cavs with Lebron next year. After that, I give the edge to Cleveland.
And to King B Mack, Im pretty sure that in 2010 Miami's title chances shot up in the days leading up to the decision before the media started talking about how Miami was pretty much a lock. That or its just a bunch of people who think that theyre smarter than they are and will end up losing alot of money lolComment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Which is exactly why staying and finishing out the 2 years in Miami is better for LeBron since I'm sure he doesn't want to wait on potential to be realized, he wants to win now. If he stays, bosh stays, and no matter how healthy wade is, as long as those two are healthy they are a better option than anything Cleveland has to offer right now.
And I can't agree that Lebron and Bosh alone is better than what the Cavs have right now plus LebronLast edited by cavsfan2; 07-09-2014, 08:19 AM.Comment
