    Re: Chris Paul wants out?

Who knows wtf will happen he could go in their monday and like what the Hornets tell him and stay. But he'll prolly end up in either Portland or Orlando I think.

I honestly hate this 2 months ago I finally bought jersey and about 2 days I loved the guy. Yesterday I realized why Drew Brees is my favorite athlete and in the future if he does leave i'll prolly hate him as much as lebron.

QUESTION: If you were the Bulls, would you trade Derrick Rose for Chris Paul?

I say no. Even though Paul is better right now, Rose is eventually going to get there and in the next year or two Derrick Rose will be the best PG in the league.

No, too many concerns about Paul's knee injury, I think. Plus Rose is destined to be a top 10 player in the league in two or three seasons.

No way. Brankles points the reason why as well.

As OSU stated, if he leaves I hope it's Orlando. Him and Dwight would be amazing.

God I want to see him in NYC with Amar'e... that would be fun. And a competitive team.

Sure they would. You're telling me that the Lakers would not trade a mediocre and injury prone center for a proven all-star PG that's arguablly the best at his position in the league? Remember he's still in his mid 20's. If they want to compete with the Heat, they'll have to make a move.

Sorry if I'm late to the party AND I just thought about this BUT didn't the Knicks get Raymond Felton?

If they have a chance to get CP3 then NY says Raymond who?

Yeah we did, but if you can get a talent like Paul you do it. My only concern is NO raping the Knicks to get him (Gallo/AR as staring pieces) & pushing Okafer's contract on us. I'm sorry but the Knicks need to be wise about this & NOT gut our roster to make this deal happen.

I personally like what we have & would be comfortable starting the season with the crew we have & see who may be available @ the deadline

                        1. a healthy Bynum is FAR from mediocre right now, let alone moving forward
                        2. how can you mention Bynum's injuries and not Paul's knee issue?
                        3. forgot how old Bynum is?
                        4. they didn't need to add anything to "compete" with the Heat... and yet they've already added plenty.

CP3 is one of my favorite players and there's no way the Lakers make this trade.

                          Re: Chris Paul wants out?

a fews weeks ago they had been i deal in place for paul to magic for nelson and carter. This would of been something magic could of done but know since they let barnes sign with lakers might be harder to do. not having a solid 2 or 3 know on the team. could of seen paul, piterus , barnes , lewis and howard as magic starting 5.

i think the knicks dont have enough parts to give to hornets with new contracts you cant trade those players until the 1st of the yr or something. Best bet if they do trade before the season is orlando or portland. I can see orlando being tops because list because of new owners wanting to cut salary with v.c. being in his last yr and getting back all star level pg to replace paul in nelson.

would be nice to see next magic opening up new arena with paul, piterus, lewis , bass and howard as the new starting 5 for the magic.

If the Lakers can do Bynum for CP3 straight up I don't see why they wouldn't. CP3 is a top 3 PG and the Lakers have Gasol to move to the 5 and Odom to slide into the 4.

The improvement of the Lakers of CP3 coming in as PG outweighs the dropoff of the Lakers losing their starting C.

I don't think this is a "no way they make this trade" situation. If anything I think NO would be thinking that.

With or without CP3, the Lakers are still the best team in the NBA.

If I'm L.A., if they ask for Bynum and Odom, I say no deal.

Bynum, Sasha, 2 1sts and Walton for Okafor and Paul.

No they wouldn't. The Lakers last 3 trips to the finals proved that having a big presence at center is more important than at PG. CP3 is unquestionably better than Bynum but the idea of building All Star teams is better than actual teams is going a bit haywire now a days for some reason. Both players have health risks. If we assume both will be healthy, the situation is perfect for Bynum to be the best he can be... not the same for Paul. Gasol is not a great center and Odom is an average PF. They're both best doing spot duty in those roles. The Lakers don't need to adjust the entire make up of their rotation and offensive sets. Again, they've been to the finals 3 years straight with basically the core and offense that they've all learned and been tweaking for much longer. If that weren't the case then maybe (and only bc of health concerns with Bynum bc people underestimate the value of a TRUE center in the NBA these days).
